The Blue Monster golf course at Trump National Doral Miami: Back and bigger than ever
MIAMI -- Doral's Blue Monster course is back and bigger than ever.
With the recent purchase of the resort by Donald Trump, this iconic south Florida resort is now Trump National Doral Miami, set on 800 acres and features five golf courses, highlighted by the famed Blue Monster. Trump shut down the course shortly after purchasing the resort and called upon architect Gil Hanse to re-imagine and embolden the layout. Now stretching to more than 7,500 yards and set on more than 300 acres, the new design promises an even more dramatic finish for the World Golf Championships-Cadillac Championship.
