Cedar Creek Golf Course in San Antonio, Texas: Resort golf views at a muni price

SAN ANTONIO -- One of seven facilities on the Alamo Golf Trail, Cedar Creek Golf Course represents one of San Antonio's best as well at a fraction of the price.

Designed by Finger, Dye and Spann and opened in 1989, this par-72 that plays nearly 7,200 yards is a championship venue that will test all levels of players. Located north of Loop 1604 in the edge of the Texas Hill Country, the golf course has plenty of movement and several great views, including a panoramic vista from the 10th tee.

Over-seeded fairways and greens make Cedar Creek a good winter play as well. A large comfortable clubhouse that overlooks the golf course completes the experience.
