Dell Urich: Arguably the better half of Tucson, Arizona's 36-hole Randolph Golf Complex

TUCSON, Ariz. -- Surrounded by mountain backdrops in the middle of Tuscon, the newer half of municipal Randolph Park, Dell Urich Golf Course, is a thoughtful parkland design in the middle of the desert.

Playing just more than 6,900 yards, this Ken Kavanaugh design is a total remake of the original Billy Bell work that first opened in 1961. The golf course, which doubles as a flood plain, has bunkers throughout, gentle doglegs and three sets of tees, making it playable for all levels.
