Hot Springs Village, Arkansas' top golf club, Granada is more than memorable

HOT SPRINGS VILLAGE, Ark. -- There are nine golf courses in Hot Springs Village, Ark. but none finer than Granada Golf Club, which is the most picturesque among the collection.

Designed by Tom Clark and Ault, Clark & Associate, Granada is a par-72, semi-private course that plays to 7,115 yards from the tips. Opened in 2004, it is a well manicured, rolling course with panoramic views, elevated tees, extensive bunkering, wide fairways and bentgrass greens.

Located in the foothills of the Ouachita Mountains, Granada Golf Club's signature hole is the beautiful 18th with a meandering waterfall that stretches the length of the fairway and was built entirely out of rocks that were removed during course construction. One of the best and most difficult holes on the course is the previous hole -- the par 4, 17th -- which has a green 60 yards in length.
