British Columbia's Tobiano golf course tops Power Rankings for the week of Aug. 24

This week's top course on Golf Advisor comes courtesy of a stunner in British Columbia: Tobiano, designed by Canadian Architect Thomas McBroom in the Okanagan region.

Opened in 2007, the golf course is well known as one of western Canada's most coveted rounds. For Golf Advisor raters, the experience has lived up to the hype. Of 28 reviews on the site, 24 are five stars.

"Every time we drove by Tobiano we would admire the course and say one day we should play it," Poulinfamily wrote. "It was worth the wait. Course is challenging if you are a higher handicap or don't hit the ball somewhat straight. Fairways and greens are like carpet and well maintained. Every staff member we talked to were very friendly and made you feel welcome."

The course is also featured in our recent photo gallery from golf course photographer Andrew Penner, who compiled his most scenic courses of western Canada photo gallery.

You can view the rest of the week's top 10, which features courses in Ontario, Florida, Texas and Arizona among others.
