Power rankings: Top-rated golf courses for the first quarter of 2017

We've spent much of the first quarter revealing our best-of lists for 2016. Now we're ready to look back on the first quarter of 2017 to see which courses have received the best reviews of the year so far.

Somewhat surprisingly, courses in rainy California have nevertheless continued to receive strong reviews, and dominate this top ten with six entries, from the Monterey Peninsula (our No. 1 destination for reviews in 2016) to Palm Springs. Perhaps local golfers have been in a particularly good mood now that the longstanding drought has ceased.
