Florida's Old Corkscrew Golf Club tops Power Rankings for Sept. 1

We have a new name atop GolfAdvisor's weekly Power Rankings: Old Corkscrew Golf Club, a Jack Nicklaus design located between Ft. Myers and Naples on Florida's southwest side.

Perhaps most surprising is that -- despite the fact it's one of the toughest public designs ever created by Nicklaus, full of water hazards and sloping greens -- pace of play earned perfect 5/5.0 marks. It just goes to show "ready golf" can go a long ways.

Here are the rest of the top-rated courses of the week as reviewed by GolfAdvisor users in overall, value and conditions categories.

(Editor's Note: Courses needed a minimum of five ratings for the week to qualify, ties are broken by cumulative scores in sub-categories.)
