Top 20 courses in Oregon according to Golf Advisor reviews in 2015

Few states have the ecological diversity of Oregon, which not only has Pacific Ocean coastline but forests, mountains and high desert. That variety spills into the golf scene, which presents all sorts of courses, ranging from some of the country's most high-end resorts to excellent, lesser known and affordable courses.

Visitors to Oregon normally point their compass towards Bandon Dunes and the resorts of central Oregon like Sunriver, but locals enjoy affordable and unique courses throughout the state. The state's top 20 reflects this spectrum of courses, from player-friendly and older courses to some of the state's most coveted new plays. The metro Portland area also makes its case as one of the stronger cities in the American West for an abundance of affordable, excellent public golf.

To compile Oregon's top 20 in 2015, we took a combination of a course's overall and subcategory rating, as well as the strength of the reviewer profiles.

This list is a joke. Lost tracks above Bandon courses? Bahaha. Rivers Edge? Laughable.

There are some real stinkers on this list.
