Top 25 courses in the Mid-Atlantic on Golf Advisor in 2014

It was a good year to be a golfer in the Mid-Atlantic region of the U.S. At the top of the Mid-Atlantic Top 25 in 2014 is Spring Creek Golf Club in rural Virginia, which checked in with a near-perfect score of 4.96/5.0. Not too shabby for the course that also ranks in Golf Digest's most recent ranking of the Top 100 Public Courses You Can Play.

The Top 25 in the Mid-Atlantic, including all Virginia and Maryland courses, plus southern Delaware and Washington D.C., features a little bit of everything. Rural courses like Spring Creek, plus a nice chunk of courses from the Ocean City destination spanning Maryland and Delaware. High-end resorts like the Hyatt Regency Chesapeake Bay and Bayside Resort, as well as Metro-D.C./Beltway courses in both Maryland and Virginia also fared well.
