Picturesque: A photogenic tour of the best public and resort golf courses in Mexico

Some people think of Mexico as a third-world country with major crime and safety issues. Golfers should think of Mexico as one of the premier destinations for oceanside/seaside golf in the world.

Los Cabos, Punta Mita and Cancun/Riviera Maya all feature scenic shoreline moments. I've made seven golf trips to Mexico the past seven years, playing 20 golf courses from coast to coast. Snapping good photos seems easy with such beautiful backdrops where the jungle, mountains and the desert contrast so well with the beach, the water and sunny skies.

My @WorldGolfer Twitter backdrop is a stunning image of the Ocean Course at Cabo del Sol. Enjoy the rest of these shots from my favorite public/resort golf courses in Mexico.
