Misleading
I honestly have no idea how this place has so many good ratings. The greens are excellent, but that’s where it stops. Have to cross main highways and hit over blind neighborhood roads. Fairways are terrible. Anywhere near the edge is dirt, rocks, and roots galore. Several fairways hold water (hasn’t rained in over a week). Even at a hot deal, there’s a ton of better options.
Underwhelming. No driving range. Cannot buy any food.
I absolutely hate leaving bad reviews for businesses. I send emails to them direct. I did that for this course but never received a response. They claim you’re a member for a day through GolfNow. However, you’re not allowed to buy any food or go up to the restaurant so make sure you bring something to eat. They have a few crackers and water and some beers available - no liquor. There is no driving range. Nothing no nets or anything so you start cold turkey. They had a huge membership drive - Every car had an advertisement to join as a nonresident member for a special price - but wouldn’t let you go and use the facilities or restaurant. Baffles me. If you’re trying to get people to join - roll out the red carpet, let everyone see what you have to offer.
As far as the course itself, it’s not fair to judge it since it was still February and winter conditions. Layout seems nice. I imagine it looks pretty nice. once all the grass is back. Strange hitting over roads on tee boxes though. Hole one you literally have to wait for cars to pass before you tee off.
Fun Course
I really enjoyed the challenge of this course. Folks seemed very friendly. After playing 9 holes I got a little hungry and went inside the Clubhouse to order a hotdog before I went to the 10th hole. I asked the lady behind the bar where I could order a hotdog. She asked if I was using the GolfNow app. Yes I was, she said they wouldn’t serve a hotdog because I was using the GolfNow app. Hopefully, their management will make the proper changes to accommodate golfers trying out this course.
Nice course!
Course overall was very nice minimal divot marks and the greens were in great condition. The front 9 is nice I’m not a big fan of starting out with that many over the water shots for the first 9 but I’m also not the best golfer lol. Being from Florida the back nine were very challenging given the elevation changes but overall a beautiful course!

Great course challenging holes. Greens are in great shape
Well maintained course
Fairways and roughs in winter condition, dormant grass. Greens in excellent condition, rolled true, held the approach shot, were medium speed (which is slower than normal). Sand traps in excellent condition, best in the Charlotte area.
Great course
Great course until you get a two some in front of run do you slow down, then the club members a three some hit into us some many times.
Excellent course, fun layout and great conditions
This was my first time at CCC, the conditions were excellent and the staff were all super welcoming. The course was built in the 20s with a neighborhood around it so they do not have room for a range, just an FYI for those playing here. You also do not have access to the members only grill etc, which is not a big deal for me. The greens were in excellent shape, some tee boxes were pretty firm but overall value for the price is tough to beat in the Charlotte area. I will absolutely return if other tee times open up to non members and really appreciate the opportunity to play,
Great value for a hot deal
Good fairways with picture frame bordering. Rough wasn't too deep that you lose your ball.
Great greens. Great staff. Pro shop isn't much. Tee boxes could use some.help. 5 tee shots require thinking and planning.
Not a bad lie anywhere.
