come man
Just looks like they just wanna take your money never seeing anybody else are cutting moan or doing anything course is in terrible shape fairways rough Chi boxes bunkers I wouldn’t recommend playing here
Gone with the Wind
Just played the windiest round of golf ever played at Sleepy Hollow. Tough to play well in heavy winds, but it does make for a pretty good excuse for bad shots. The only thing holding Sleepy Hollow back from being a really nice track is a little bit of effort. For some reason, the management prioritizes burning random stumps instead of filling the divots on the tee boxes. Heck, I’d fill the divots for a buck fitty and a cold Pepsi.
The worst course I have played in a very long time
The course overall is in very poor condition. Tee boxes sparse and not level. Fairways had more weeds than grass. Greens were hard as a rock and had bare spots on a lot of them. It's a shame as I started playing there in the early 70's and taught my kids to play there. My son came up from Florida and we went there for a trip down memory lane and instead it was a nightmare. Save your time and money and play elsewhere or not at all.
Fun round
We enjoyed playing here and hard to beat the value $16 on golfnow! Would definitely play sleepy hollow again.
Course in bad condition
Course was in horrible condition. Greens had spots of dirt where grass should be. Fairways were hard after a week of rain. Wouldn’t recommend
Sleeeeepy Hollow
This is a sad review, and one that brings a tear to my eye. I really hate to say it, but the course conditions were the worst I've ever seen here. Fairways were great, but tee boxes and greens were definitely not up to par with the Sleepy Hollow that I know. The greens also smelled like manure, and I'm sure it wasn't just my putting. I will definitely be back due to the great layout and rates, but it may not be for a couple of months sadly. Get well soon Sleepy Hollow...
Only Okay
First time I played this course and I probably won't ever be back.
- The cart was beat up, could barely turn the steering wheel.
- The tee boxes were bad.
- The diagrams that show the hole at the tee box were all damaged and broken.
- One green had an unfilled hole.........
- Pace of play was the worst I have ever been a part of. For 18 holes, 1 person and 1 cart, I started at 9:20am and didn't finish until 2pm.... a 3some held everyone up with how incredibly bad and inconsiderate of others behind them to look for every ball they hit out of bounds (every other hit).
