Freeway Golf Course

nice drive.........lost ball..........NO FAIRWAYS!.....course overall conditions are not good.......will not play again

Although the course is a little rough, we enjoyed the day. The course was crowded so there was a delay of play. We stopped after nine and had a good lunch. After lunch there was no delay. I would return for the rate we paid for sure. Staff was excellent.

Cart path really needs to be repaired . Some improvement is needed on the course . Over all for the price we paid it was ok

Great place to play for the money! Well kept! The course plays on the easier side but it's definitely a beginner/intermediate course.

I will be playing here again soon!

Staff was very helpful and friendly.
They will still working on the some of the greens and fairway. Bunkers were well maintained. Pace of play was not rushed. Overall good experience and would return for sure!

This course was a great value as I played for $20 with a cart. The staff was friendly and relaxed. Berr and hot dog at turn hit the spot! Many challenging holes with risk/reward options. Course condition was fair as compared with most "$20 courses". I wouldn't spend $40 or $50 to play here.

When I arrived there was a delay of 1 hour because of carts being broken but the manager quickly comped me a free round of golf without me complaining. The staff was very nice, pro shop has no merchandise inside and no food carts on the course but conditions were pretty well considering it's the beginning of the season and we have been battling weather all year. All things said the pace wasn't bad despite the delays and only paying $29 for a 10 o'clock tee time on a Sunday it was a great value for the price. Worth a play for weekend warriors looking for an open slice/hook friendly golfer.

Regular pricing is in line with courses like Indian springs, kresson, etc but the course is not on the same level nor are the amenities. Frequently offers specials through golf now which makes it a perfect practice round but if I paid normal price to play I'd be highly upset

To be fair....rough winter for any course. First good day in months. Clubhouse poor...no snacks, poorly stocked

Played here on Dec 3rd, mid day Tuesday. Course had some people out playing, the few people I did play up on let me play through without issue and were very friendly. Course was in great shape for December, and that saying a lot. I usually play courses that are better known, and more expensive, but Freeway was a great outing and would certainly play it again if I found myself in the area.

I would call this an old school or blue collar course, which in no way puts a bad light on it for me. It has an interesting layout that includes some memorable holes. It plays long because of some of the dogleg holes, and has a couple of "sucker par fours" that took a bite out of me. Nothing fancy but fair and attractive. The greens were a little slow. Temporary tee boxes when we were there. Rustic clubhouse with small but complete facilities. A little bar in back that I liked. Some maintenance issues, but not bad. I like this place- good deal.

We played on an overcast day and the pace of play was great. No one in front or in back of us. The course was in okay condition. The best thing was that we played on a discount rate of $12.00. You can't beat that! The greens were in good condition for the most part. All tee boxes were closed. They were growing grass on all of them. Fairways were in decent shape as well.

The course is being addressed. Greens improved- tee boxes currently being worked on- fairways need work,but I've seen worse.

Course was in good condition considering it had rained the night before.

The day we played all tee boxes were under repair. It made the course a little shorter, which isn't a bad thing. We have played Freeway a few times this season and the course and the conditions are getting better. We will be back.

The only issue I had with this course is that they did not have the layout on the scorecard. It was my first time and there are a few heavy dog legs that I didn't know about until after my tee shot. If you couldn't see the green from the tee box, you had to just hit the fairway and hope you chose the right side. There were a lot of leaves on the course as well but that is to be expected for a tree lined course in the middle of fall. Fun course with some challenging holes.
