Blues Creek Golf Club is arguably Maryville's best-kept golfing secret. Even on weekends, golfers may find that they have the course to themselves. Although it is seemingly benign, the course has many surprising challenges that are a formidable test for even skilled golfers. It also boasts immaculate conditions. The golf course sprawls across hilly terrain that provides some tricky uneven lies. The greens putt fast and true. The layout has an interesting mix of holes including several lengthy par 4s and par 5s. The course requires careful course management and will test your shot-making skills. Although it is not an easy course, beginners and high handicappers won't be out of their league. Besides the friendly staff and enjoyable layout, Blues Creek is most known for being the most affordable golf in the area.

Interesting Course

Fairly short course but don't let that fool you! Greens will test your short game. The greens are small and most have severe sloping off the green so it is easy to to chip or putt and be off the green. I found the back nine more difficult as heavily wooded with old mature trees lining fairways - beautiful scenery! Well worth checking out!

Pleasantly Surprised

First time playing the course. Course had character and challenges. Nice tree lined fairways, quiet (no traffic noise except #9), friendly staff & other patrons were friendly. Carts could use some upgrading, but ran OK. We enjoyed our round and will be back.

Great value for the money

This is my budget course. About $20 weekday or weekend with a cart and a decent track. Not a premium course but well worth it!

Greens are in great shape!

I have not played it yet this year (2013) However, last year the greens were in great shape. they rolled true and smooth and fairly fast. the front nine is in better shape than the back. They were working on the back last year. Lot of trees and fairly narrow fairways. We (wife) and I usually play nine holes. We both like the course and the people. Overall it can stand some work, but they are trying and for the money it is not a bad deal.

The people are very friendly.
