A nice course, but
every time we play there, when we make the turn we find somebody on the back nine that had not played the front nine. Says something about management and ranger-less courses.
Very fun place to play
Personally I like the layout of the course and it's always very well taken care of
Jack the Lipper
It's always a treat to get out and play the Pines. Although the course was a little wet, you can tell that it is maintained well. They must have heard we were coming because the pin placements were on par with a Sunday at the masters. We must have had 15 putts lip out or miss by a millimeter. Can't we help a brotha out? Nonetheless, the Pines is a great track.
To be desired
Tee time was behind, no starter or ranger to be seen all day. Group in front of my 2-some was nice enough to let us through. Shaggy, inconsistent cuts around the green were a bit too penalizing, especially with the really slow, but true rolling greens. I did however enjoy this round overall as my 1st time playing here and playing fairly well. Guess I just expected a lil more for $42 and previous good reviews.
Crappy
Was disrespectful over and over again and didn’t allow us to finish the back 9 holes because we were playing a 4 man scramble and they had a league in a half hour and told us we were too slow and instead of telling us ahead of time or asking us to speed up even though there was no one behind us on the back 9. And couldn’t get me a refund because it was through golf now.
Fun and Challenging course to play
I live about 45 minutes from the Pines but try to play there at least 3 or 4 times a season..!!! Challenging and fun 18 holes of golf with a few legitimate birdie holes sprinkled in..!!! Don’t hesitate to play there I’m sure you will enjoy it..!!! The Pines staff are always very friendly and their Restaurant has very good food with an outdoor deck overlooking the 10th tee..!!! GO PLAY..!!!
Nice well kept course
Nice course but when I have to wait 10 minutes per hole to tee off because we are so clustered, it’s very frustrating
Great for weather
It rebounds well after heavy rains . Challenging from back tees . Greens a little inconsistent. But overall a fun course with some unique holes.
