Reid Park Golf Club - North Course
About
There are two 18-hole courses at Reid Park Golf Club, the North and the South. The courses have been providing one of the greater Springfield area's best golf values for over 40 years. The championship North Course is the longer and more challenging of the two. The South Course is open and walkable while the North Course features a hillier terrain with elevation changes that range from subtle to dramatic. Mature trees frame the large, slick greens and there are also strategically placed bunkers throughout. Many locals consider it to be one of the toughest golf courses in the area. Though there are different tees so that you can play to your skill level, beginners may want to stick with the South Course, which still has challenges but is more player-friendly than the North.

REID North
Not the best course for high handicap people. Very pretty though.
Great municipal course
The north course at Reid has some challenging holes and some easy holes. It's well taken care of and is a pleasure to play. The back 9 has tons of elevation changes and would be extremely hard to walk if you're older, so keep that in mind. The price is a great value. You won't be disappointed. I just wish the city wouldn't kept Snider instead of the south course at Reid.
Reid North 6/24/21
Course is in decent shape coming into the City Am in a few weeks.
Greens are always good!
Fun, tough course
Hit ‘em straight or you’re in trouble. There are big trees and unmowed nature areas along most fairways. I know, I’ve been in most of them. Lol.
You will need to use every club in your bag. The course is in good/great shape for a municipal course. Excellent value for the money. Well worth the drive from Columbus.
Great challenge
Course was in great shape as usual. The greens rolled true and fairways and tee boxes were I. Really good shape. Bunkers were a little rough but it did rain a lot the night before and in the morning. Back nine is definitely the tougher nine but is cool. You need to be hitting it straight off the tees especially for the back nine. Great course though and you can’t beat the price. Definitely would recommend if you’re looking for a fun challenging track.
Challenging golf
Fun course to play. You need to bring all of your clubs, you’ll use them all. The course was in good shape for a public municipal course.
Fun course to play. You need to use all of your clubs iyour bag. Green were hard and firm but rolled true. Fairways were in good shape, no major bald spot or "under repair" areas
Tougher than you think.
The rough is high on some holes…so, don’t go there. The layout of the course was tough….it made ya work the ball off the tee. Par 3’s…are long…even from the white tees. Enjoyed it…gonna hit the South Course, next time.
Rough
We were in a threesome and continuously look for our balls in the rough. Greens were smooth and tees were nice. If they get the rough under controlled it really could be the best course in Springfield.
I played there two times. I think this is one of the best courses around dayton area. everything is so good. Layout, courses conditions, pace of Play. it is a good one for value for the money. I'm sure i'll recommend this.
