Half and half
Good course for the money. Front nine was in good condition. Back nine not nearly as good. All greens we're pretty good. Rolled well. Very forgiving course. Wide open. Quite hilly. Overall, I'd play it again, but they need water on the back nine. Very friendly staff.
A very good experience
We thought that the course was long but fair and on the date we pkayed excellent value for money. The greens had been aerated and sanded but this didn't seem to affect their performance too much and they remained true.
Maybe a One-Off Experience
We played here for a friend's birthday. The starter inspected my cart and informed me coolers were not allowed. When I showed him the contents were a wrap and a redbull, he told me to return the cooler to my car and get an ice bucket from the bar (The bartender then told me this was not a rule but outside alcohol was strictly prohibited).
After grabbing food quickly at the turn, we were approached by folks teeing off at the 10. They told us to let the party behind them also go. When we figured to just play through instead, we were cursed out and approached again.
Course conditions were overall fine. May have just been an off-day for the course. Bar staff were incredibly friendly. Seemed hostile to beginners.

Greens are fine. Go play!
Incredible bargain with the supposed bad aerated greens. The greens were slow, but true. My bad putting stroke had nothing to do with the greens.
The rough was mowed so pace of play was good (after some seriously slow players cleared out)
Friendly check in, breakfast sandwich guy and the bartender.
Sure, not the most awesome course, but for the cost ??? Take your savings and give it to the servers or buy your foursome some beers.

Great Couse
I have been playing Metro since it opened back in the early 80’s and have always loved the layout. If the new management continues to make improvements it will again be one of the best courses in the central Florida area. It’s gone through some tough times but it can be brought back to its original splendor with a little time and a lot of care. If they don’t make the same mistake and price out the locals, remember we still play when the snowbirds go home. If they continue to do what they are doing they will succeed.

Chaos
First time playing in Metrowest, couldn’t resist the $45 dollar game cost while visiting family . First of all they load your bags on the cart for you, great. I asked the associate loading bags if they provide coolers for beer . He says we do but sometimes they run out. I asked if I should bring my little cooler for their beer then and he responded with our cart girl is mean and she will be on us and if we have a cold beer on us she will let us know we’re doing something wrong. I’m driving a $90,000 pickup truck and were unloading $4,500 clubs and I’m wearing a $50,000 watch, do I look like I’d sneak in a beer? Lol next we’re on hole 2 and this cart lady about rams us head on and blocks us in the fairway to do an intense visual inspection of our cart to make sure we’re not drinking our own hooch or bringing outside beer. Players are jumping holes and all over the place with no rules. I’ll stick to my usual clubs and leave this one for Metrowest inhabitants, never going back and that cart lady fits right in.
Overall Good Experience
It has been several years since I have played this course as the conditions were poor. I decided to give them another chance and was pleasantly surprised. I knew the greens had been aerated about a week before my round so was not surprised with their condition and they are filling in well. The fairways were in good shape except a few places on a couple of the holes. boxes. The same with the tee boxes.
Getting Better
The course was going through aeration of the greens but this course was handling that well. The layout is fun and the course is in good enough shape to play again and again.
