Bare ground fairways everywhere
This course is in very poor condition. There were bare ground fairways everywhere. In some cases you'd hit the ball in the fairway and dust would kick up. The bunkers are essentially dirt, no sand. It's an embarrassment that the city of Tulsa has let the maintenance of this course sink to this level. Where is the money being spent on these city courses?
Grass needed
I hope that as spring moves on the conditions improve because there isn’t much grass to play off of. There’s not much sand in the bunkers if you can find any at all, but I will say that the greens are in decent shape and roll fairly smooth. It was windy and I’m sure that played a part in the slow play as we had to wait on every shot. Needless to say it will be awhile before I return again.
Good Public Course
It's a good course. Our last time playing was after serious rain abs they still had the course in good shape.
The course is in poor condition
There is bare ground everywhere. Some of the holes have standing water in the middle of the fairway and the sand traps are all dirt no sand with grass growing in a few. The City of Tulsa should spend some money on maintenance if they are going to have the audacity to raise the rates higher than Lafortune Golf Course
Poor value
Due to some reason I can’t figure out, I couldn’t use my $10 monthly GolfPass+ to make the already discounted value remotely worth it. Granted the Bermuda is brown and therefore dormant, but there wasn’t enough of it in the fairways to make the hard pan Bermuda tolerable. If I paid the normal fee of $45, I’d be livid. Without a Marshall, people were jumping onto the #1 tee box and #10 with no accountability. Several groups of 5 slowed play down drastically. We were told there would be no carts available until our tee time. So, we carried our clubs to incredibly poor groomed practice range that was a quarter of a mile away from clubhouse. When we reported at 1:40 for our tee time, we didn’t get one until 2:15.
Great conditions
The course was in great shape, there was a frost delay so I worried about the receptive of the greens but they were rolling perfectly that day!
It's a good course but..
It was wet which made course conditions poor.
And it's winter, so fairways are dormant. Pin positions were ridiculously placed.
Troon Golf has taken over this course last year. Raised the prices and have done nothing to improve the course.
TeeOff golf got us a good price though.
Great folks
Great people work here and make the experience better!
Fairways
No fun to always hit off of dirt, regular prices are way too high for course conditions ,one broken ball washer on entire facility. Why were prices raised so much this year,to run off anyone that has another choice for the same $?Just an attempt to run off all business so city can say see no one wants to use these courses so we'll just have to close them, too bad, only options before stupid price changes for regular people to play golf, get more attendance than all the other money pits put together that city pushes
Need to open the restrooms
Please open restrooms on the courses. Women have to go back to club house and effect pace of play for lots of people. The course is getting in a lot better shape
