Going down memory lane
This was a course that I enjoyed playing in my teens. Back then it was a Par 3 18 hole layout. It is now a 9 hole layout that is still enjoyable to play.
Super chill course
Very relaxed course, saw people in t shirts, it was dead empty when we got there so tee'd off 15m early and finished 9 holes in just over 60m. For less then $20 It was a great course and experience would recommend for casual players
Great course for children beginner golfers
My very petite 6-year old daughter has been to a few golf camps / group lessons, but had not played a full round of golf before. The challenge is where to take her to actually get started playing. Even if she were more advanced in skill her small size would leave here hitting pretty short shots. This course was perfect for starting her off at actually playing golf - rather than just range and practice / learning. The front tees for this 9-hole course is less than 1,000 yards which his perfect for this purpose. For a short par 3, it was even a fun course for a well-seasoned player like myself. AND the course is well maintained and had very few people on it - which again makes it ideal for a beginning golfer who will have to take far more shots without feeling the pressure of holding more experienced golfers up.
Everything was good but you had maintenance workers that were either in the way or operating leaf blowers nearby the whole round. There was a lady operating a mower on the green and we had to wait for her to move.
We enjoy this little course
We play there a few times a year. The course was in really nice shape, and the greens were nice. Our only negative was they had a couple groups of kids on the course as we were playing our last few holes. It looked like a group lesson. The kids were very loud and running around.
Amazing track for kids and beginners
The Campbell Course is a great spot for anybody learning the game or just a quick short game tune up. Small greens, short holes with some some good variety in contours and chipping areas around them make for a fun spot and the staff and course are very welcoming to everyone. My 3.5 year old and I had a great time (his first round ever) here and will definitely be back.
Needs to be updated..
I come here often to work on my short game. Below average course even for kids, the staff is full of teenagers who barely care. Tee times are never correct and they never have enough carts available. Come alone with your headphones in and maybe you can enjoy a few holes.
Great par 3 course
Staff- top notch. Friendly and welcoming. My daughter was treated extremely well.
Course - great shape. Greens and fairways are good. I would like to see them add a hazard per hole (water or bunker). .
Very clearly marked tee boxes.
* would like to see them add a third tee location (red/white).
*** excited about the pro shop. They sell used, dontated gear, so they are not ripping you off for a arm and leg, trying to push new gear.
****** need stickers to promote business. Would love to put the chilrens course on my daughters bag.
Easy course, keep expectations low
Children's Course is a budget operation when it comes to maintenance. On plus side, the greens themselves were good, albeit a bit slow and "Covid Cups" (shallow) made putts more difficult. All tees and grass areas on course outside of greens were mixed with clover, crabgrass, and other weeds. It is a very pleasant place to play, with an easy pace dictated by younger golfers out with their parents.
Great beginners course
I have played this course for the first time in a long time with my 9 year old son. This is a great course for him to learn how the game works and great for me so I can clean up my iron game.. we had a great time, no one behind us so He really got a chance to take his time before each shot! I recommend this Course to anyone getting back into the game or for kids to gain confidence. We will be back!!
Worth the investment
I played 18 holes in less than 2 hours. The greens are somewhat slower than I would like but the layout is good practice for the irons.
Excellent for kids and beginners
Course was in its best condition that I have seen. We really like the simplicity of this course because it’s perfect for kids. Adults - you will only need a 7, wedge, putter
