love the course

I have always liked playing at OGA. Challenging and using the different tees makes a great game. I usually walk the course and like the layout, as there are not too many hills. The wind at times makes the holes LONGER and you have to manage your game well. I get senior rates, so the price is very acceptable. All in all, very good course. Worth the driving time 28 miles one way

Great course, but very slow pace.

Took almost 5 hours to finish and that was with a cart. Other than that we had a great time.

Course played great

Fast greens, fairways had roll and very little water considering its spring, Great deal on golf now and then made even better by 65 degrees and sun!

Great Course, Very well maintained and Challenging

OGA is one of my favorite courses for the money in Oregon. Golf now deals are around $23 for 18 and It is very hard to beat. My friend and I went out on a Friday with good weather and were surprised to see so little play. The greens are firm and roll well, if not sometimes a bit tricky to read. This course challenges you from the blues, but if you hit fairways you should be alright. Because of the condition this course is kept in all year round it is one of my favorite courses. If you have not played here it is worth the trip.

Friday Hot deal surprise.

I played here today for the first time. I had heard great things about this course ever since we first moved to area 18 months ago. I was a little reluctant to make my first round here during the wet season. But at $18 I couldn't resit. I am so glad I didn't. What a fun challenging layout. While I am not a fan of courses with houses along the fairways, these homes are really not an issue. So if you're having one of those crooked driving days, you don't have to stand on the tee worried about taking out a window. The fairways were soft, but I didn't have any balls plugged and there was plenty of grass on them. The bunkers were well maintained for this time of year and had plenty of sand. I was really impressed with the quality of the greens for this time of year. They were in great shape. Nice pace and rolled great. We played the commander tees. I have never experienced this. On certain holes your moved to the forward tees. Made the day fun since neither of us are really long and this time of year there is no run on your drives. I will definitely be back. It's worth the drive.

Ok course for summer, but grossly overpriced.

Total confusion on the first tee because there was no starter (on a Sunday??). Overpriced even at the $37.00 Hot Deal price.

Feb. 11th

OGA does a very good job maintaining their greens. I was not expecting them to be in such good shape for a wet Feb. morning. It was the first time we had played there and the course was much better than i had expected. The staff was quite friendly, and the cost for the round was worth it. The only bad thing is that I would not recommend to get a cart on "cart path only" days - Just walk it. The path takes you too far away from the course to be able to keep up good pace.

Nice Course

Enjoyed playing OGA. Interesting holes with fairly forgiving layout. Greens were in good shape for January. Was a little surprised how wet it was with quite a few days without rain. To be fair mainly in the rough areas. Ball plugged many times. Wear Mudders! Will come back in warmer, drier months.

Great public course

The course lay out was wonderful, it was a joy to play. The greens were recently aerated, but they were fair for some of us. The drainage of this course is adequate for this rain season. Very nice golf course.

Course kept in great shape

Every time I have played the OGA Course it has been in excellent shape and this time was no different. I like the fact that the course makes you play different types of shots and makes you think your way through certain holes.
