Belles Springs Golf Course

I am a university student at lock haven university, I play this course at least once a week in my free time and every single time I am not disappointed. Staff is friendly, almost always good pace of play. Laid back yet very nice course. Conditions are 95% of the time great. Not much to complain about here!

I have played Belles Springs dozens of times over the years. It is an excellent course overall! I am always treated well and have never once had any issues. The layout allows for novices and experienced players to have a fun round. The course is always very well maintained and well marked. It is definitely worth the affordable price.

Played here on the way to the US Open. Wasn't expecting much as the course is in a quite rural setting. Was pleasantly surprised both by the course conditions and the quality of the layout - it is not just a rip and wedge it course. Good use of the elevation changes and a good variety of holes, it won't make anyone's "best of" list, but it was a fun fine in central PA.

Played here many times. Course is always in good shape and you can't beat the value!

I can honestly say that I am a regular at Belles Springs. I have been going there at least once a week for years. I will continue to because I never fail to have a great time at their beautiful course. The staff has ALWAYS been accommodating and very friendly. Given the lack of golf in the area, there does tend to be an eclectic mix of people golfing there. That being said the rangers are very good at keeping the pace of play cruisin along. Ultimately some of the most important things to me are done extremely well there; course maintenance and service. Not to mention the price is very, very reasonable. It's definitely the best bang for your dollar in this area.

This golf course is just OK, nobody is expecting pristine conditions here, the course itself is pretty due to its location.

There are times when you will overlook pathetic customer service and just play a course anyway, but not this course. People play here because there is literally nowhere else close to play, and your dirt cheap.
I have never written a review before, but I made an exception as they have the worst staff, starters and rangers I have ever experienced.
I spend a LOT of money at golf, and none of it will ever go to Belle Springs, please stop by any one of the courses in State College and you will find them run by mostly young, energetic and friendly staff, who appreciate your business, not a bunch of crusty old men, who know ZERO about pace of play, course management, and couldn't care less about the customer experience.
