Great course
Course is in awesome condition. Well worth the trip to play there.
Course has almost recovered from sprinkler surgery
Most of the fairway trenches have filled in and the course is back to being a great course for a great price. Still some work to be done, but almost healed.
Out of town player
Was in town for the weekend and played here because the reviews were really good. There was a ton of people on the course and we waited 15-20 minutes on each tee box on the front nine. It was so slow I quit and didn’t even play the back 9.
Rainy Round
Despite the continuous rain, players were able to get out on the course. The course held up, greens did not collect water, overall course remained playable. Always enjoy playing this track.
Nice track for a late afternoon round
The course is in pretty good shape especially the greens. Fairways are ok and some sand traps are a bit rocky. All in all an enjoyable course. The cart paths are the strangest I’ve ever encountered as many of them don’t travel even a fraction of the hole. Not a big deal but something I wish I had known.
Under Construction
Overall nice track. They currently put a drainage system in the fairways so they could drain. Wet spots didn’t drain well, but should be a lot better soon with the new drainage system. Definitely worth the price.
Hidden Gem
The absolute best course for the price around this area. I drive 30 minutes to play this course every week. Greens are so nice they run really pure. Once all the construction and updates are finished it will be perfect.
Master
First off the price was worth the travel, at check in personnel was very nice, pace of play was great, greens was very nice relatively smooth and quick (about 10 on the stimp) and do have what appears of some possibly poa annua invading, sand bunkers were in good condition however getting to the greens was a little tough being as fairway Bermuda not really coming totally in so there was several areas of little to no grass and some wet areas which appear to being worked on to eliminate. I would give a higher rating on course conditions once these areas grow in or corrected.
Great course!
Tucked away in edgefield it’s a 30 minute drive from my house, but I make it once a week to play here. Well worth the money, never too busy and always a good time. They are redoing some irrigation and doing some work right now but still in great shape. Love it
