The Valley at Eastport Golf Club
About
Architect Dennis Griffiths designed this track as a finesse course. He did not produce the typical beach layout when he created this 18-hole design, built in 1988. It has narrow bermudagrass fairways and large bentgrass greens and is bordered on the east by the Intracoastal Waterway.
Holes No. 1 through 15 are short, and the course lulls you up to this point. Then, the last three holes are uncharacteristically difficult. The course is mostly flat, with occasional uneven lies. Some tree-lined fairways have doglegs. The course is always fun to play and an especially fun round of golf for couples.

Very nicely kept, terrible pace of play, Average overall
Course was in great condition. Nothing too special or crazy, just average layout. Fairways were amazing and greens/tee were kept very good. Issue was. It took 2 hours to finish the first 7 holes. People bee backed up on top of each other and no one could get the foursome ahead of the pack to pick up pace. They were driving all over and taking an unbelievable amount of time to play. People sitting at every hole to tee off while they are fishing balls out of the water. We ended up letting 4 groups pass us because we felt so uncomfortable and pressured. I believe everyone skipped holes to pass this group to pick up pace. Around the 9th hole they got off the course and it was much better. Just sitting at each tee box in 95' weather was horrible. Course overall was very well kept, but they need a ranger to control this as many groups were frustrated as we were. Glad I got to play the course but would like to try somewhere else next time.

Great time 2 weeks in a role. Great course except 17th and 18th hole. Why so big of ponds! 🤣 will be playing again for sure.
Fun course to play, some very challenging holes. If I lived in the area, I would definitely play this course frequently.
Scenic
Scenic holes and well thought out variety of tees and greens.
Fun Course
I enjoyed the round. For this time of year, it was in pretty good condition. A couple of greens had some bad spots but it didn't affect play. The layout is fun with a great variety of holes some tight tee shots, some wider target areas. Short holes where you have to think a bit and longer holes (the finishing par 4 18th is a beast). Pace of play was reasonable for this area. I will definitely play here again on future trips.
Greens need a lot of work. Very bumpy..I probably won’t come back.
A pleasant surprise.
This course was a pleasant surprise. It is easily accessible, open enough for a new golfer with some challenging holes (especially 17 and 18). There wasn’t a beverage cart but I didn’t expect one on a Tuesday in April. It is a fantastic value!
Was good, could be great.
The course was short and fair with an enjoyable layout. The condition of the fairways was good, but some of the greens needed some work.
An Average Course
There are several challenging holes with lots of water. Greens not in great shape.
Valley Review
The Valley is in good shape and was fun and challenging to play. Staff are very friendly and the course offers good value for money. We would recommend it for sure.
April 6 at east point
This is a tight place your shot golf course fairways were good layout is tight only disappointment was in the greens they were rough hard and fast and seemed outdated
They were not Bermuda which is the standard
Fun course
We played early in the am which probably helped our pace of play. We played in just under 3 hours but we were the second group off in the morning.
Fairways and tees were great but the greens were still coming in and they were bumpy.
The course is short but does require some positioning off the tee box. Great course to walk if you’re into that as well.
I would play again.
