Do not recommend this place
Staff were nowhere to be found, and golf cars were not available due to staff not being there during working hours.
Need new carts
Everyone had a great time. I lost 2 clubs and still had a blast the carts need updating had to push one up a hill at the end otherwise course is good. Nice layout
Definitely going back. Can’t beat the price either
WILL NOT HONOR GOLF NOW
They no longer accept Golf Now or credit card payments - don’t reserve on here.
there was literally dog crap everywhere and people not golfing walking their dogs on the course and one green had a bunker's worth of sand but it is cheap
No longer accept Golf Now teservations
They no longer accept Golf Now reservations, or credit card payments. Had an afternoon planned with friends, showed up, and they said they have no carts for us, and they can’t accept our paid tee time reservation.
Golf Cart
The course wouldn’t be se bad if some of the greens was paid more attention to. However, I went through 3 different golf carts because all the batteries died. There was no one there to bring me any golf carts either. So I had to walk to three different times to get a new one. By the 8th hole, the third golf cart had died so I had to walk the rest.
Never Again
Tee boxes were uneven, on number 2 my feet were 3 inches below the ball. There was no staff present at the time of check in, cart path was in complete disarray, and there was a sign up sheet for a dog fight on the check in counter. We didn’t believe it at first until we were notified by one of the members of the course that it would be taking place on the course during the time we were playing and to “be cautious.” We paid for 18 holes and only played 9, we will never be back.
Dead cart
No one to help in the club house. Golf cart died after about 7 holes. No other carts to replace it
On Par with Price
If you’re from the country then you probably know about that one course in the tri-county area where anyone can go to play golf. This is that course. Yes, as some reviews have stated, it’s probably a converted pasture but it’s not bad. I went to play to just get in some strokes and situational hitting. It was well worth it. The greens were true throughout and not as bad as some of the reviews. It’s the Par 3s that have a lot of divots, probably because regular players there don’t play enough to carry a divot tool. But the rest were fine and the 3s weren’t unputtable. I had a great day out there and got what I went for. I would go more often if it wasn’t 1 hour away.
Fun Course
I always enjoy playing at McCormick Country Club. The staff is very friendly and the course is in good shape. Both par threes play over water and overall it is a very fun course. The greens are in really good shape as well. Well worth your time and money!
cow pasture
I have seen better pastures than this place, the grass was a foot tall the greens were horrendous, the cart was a danger in itself, it took quite a bit of leg to stop the cart and then every once in a while it decided not to go at all. I will never play at this course again, in fact they should have paid me to play there, that was the only good thing about the course 10 dollars a round and even then you dont get your moneys worth.
Nice course for money
This tree lined course has good layout and several long fairways for a 9 hole course. Water comes into play a couple of times. Yes, the cart paths are not the best but are ok if you just slow down . Players on this course are polite. I've played this course a number of times.
What is a dogfight or quota league?
It is a league that uses Stableford points for scoring. Each player earns points and tries to beat his/her quota (target or goal). The golfer with the most points in excess of their quota wins.
but everything else was right on point
