Fun course
Nice 9 hole. Play twice for 18. Carts in good condition. Few holes nice and long with slight dog-leg. Water at a few and sand traps well placed. A couple of greens are very challenging. Pretty course with tree lined fairways. Players are polite and conciderate of others. This is a layed back course. Sometimes staff will be busy and not in office; just sign in put money in 'honor box' walk over to barn unplug a cart that states 'full charge' and start playing. I noticed the very nice dining room but did not get any info on this.
Pretty 9
Cart paths need rebuilt. The carts are very old and the batteries do not last 9 holes, numerous golfers has 2 walk back 2 club house. Will never return...
Poor maintenance
Greens and tees were playable barely, only 9 holes should have been in better condition. Golf now should take it off their list
Dog Day Golfing.
Old course in good shape greens are a monster lots of contour.
Dont waste your money
You couldnt pay me to play there again. Course looked like a old cattle field turned into golf course with a push mower. The greens were like hitting into a concrete block riddled with divots.
McCormick Country Club
This is a nine hole course. It is fairly well kept but has a medely of grasses in the fairway. Rough is too high and makes it difficult to find your ball. Greens are ok. Amenities are few. Staff were friendly if you can find them.
Awesome Greens
Me and my buddy played this course for the first time July 10, 2016. The fairways are a little rough in some spots but the greens more than made up for this. The greens are pretty fast but roll true! And do not expect any easy putts out here. Pay attention where you hit your approach shot to the greens because downhill putts will run for days. Overall I loved this 9 hole course and plan on going back soon! Finally, at about $15 to ride 18, this is a Great deal!
9 Hole GEM
Have played here many times but this was the best course conditions I have seen here. Greens are smooth and true and provide fun, challenging putts. No fairway irrigation so the ground can be hard in some areas but overall not too bad. Bunkers are perfectly edged and full of sand. Two sets of tee markers for 9 and 18 hole rounds provide great variety. Holes #2 and #7 par 3's over water are great holes. The club is run by two people (for everything, pro shop, maintenance, etc) who go the extra step to make you feel at home. Great layout for ladies, beginners but challenging enough for low handicappers. No rush, no hassle, just relaxing time playing golf. What else do you need?? Check it out!
My apologies for your experience at the course. While under new management there have been many changes and improvements. We do our very best to make sure everyone has a great golf outing. We also know that not everything can be perfect and in the event that you are unsatisfied we will do what we can to see to it that your refunded. The opportunity to correct the issue would have been nice before the unsatisfactory review that ultimately doesn't help the courses ability to make improvements.
