Good for Beginners
Just a little mom and pop course. Fairways and rough are the same length and there are virtually no bunkers on the entire course. Ironically, the greens are very smooth, although they are also a little slow and hairy. Perfect course for beginners to come out and learn to play. Short and wide open course.
Fun Course
Great deal from GolfNow, very open course even my worse tee shots gave me a way out to get Par. Back nine was a little tighter than the front but still open. Greens were consistant not to fast. If you are just learning this would be a great course to play.
Great buy for the price.
First time playing this course. Fairways were a little rough but the greens were in great shape. Our goal was to play 36 holes. At the 33 rd hole we got stuck behind a group of 4. The sun set before we could finish. We had a great day on the golf course.
spend the money on another
Course could be nice and worth it of they had fairways approaches and cut all their tee boxes. Its basically land with 18 greens, not a golf course. Save your money unless maybe paying the 16 dollars at night. Because even when the tee time says fast play its not even close to that. I waited on every hole.
Get what you pay for
The course is a little rundown. Fairways really needed some work, but greens were surprisingly good. Nothing special to the course. There's a reason the price is so low, but it's a great course to get some practice on.
Beginner friendly
Pros:excellent greens (one of the smoothest I've played), wide open course, nice pace of play
Cons: fairways were pretty bare but it's early in the year.
Mr
Great course for the dollar but had to wait too long on each hole to tee off. The course was over book / sold
Relax
This is a fun little course to practice your game. A few tough holes and a few you should birdie. You can swing away because many of the fairways run parallel.......keep your eyes open. Greens are fun and grain plays a big roll in their break. Think you are too good for a little country course.....go prove it! If someone is holding you up....just go around.....it's play all day for your entry fee. Only problem is getting tired. Have fun, we do and like to play here fore fun!
Great Value For The Money
Paid $16.00 For my round which cover all fees and cart. Paid $5.00 for the golfnow, com booking fee. Most of the greens are extremely fast, so bring your "a" +++ game. The fairways haven't had time to fluff up, so your fairway shots are difficult. The greens could be more receptive to the ball landing on them, again, extremely fast. Very difficult to read them in their current condition. Not a lot of trees to really get lost in, so forgiving to some slices and hooks. Look forward to soft greens and fairways,. Will continue to make the trip to play this course,
Not to bad
First I would say take your own food and beer. They have no beer and sell gas station sandwiches. The course itself isn't bad, with the only problem being that it is really easy to find yourself on the wrong Tee. My cart died twice on me. So we spent and hr of time changing/pushing carts. This course is very forgiving for new golfers since the fairways are so wide and the greens are huge.
Cold Morning
It was a cold morning. Teed off at 10:00AM with breezy 39f temperatures warming to mid 50's, The greens were the best ever seen them. Tee boxes were poor. Overall the course was in good shape.
A great time with my son.
so so
This course is played just for fun. A good course to play to build confidence
Good course for the money
They have a very good pro at Brevofield. Evan is very helpful. Course in good shape. Greens are great. Good value for your money.
Nice course!
It's a nice course. Greens are in great condition.
Great fun!
This is a great value. The course is short but there are some challenging holes. They do a good job with the greens - a bit slow, yes, but they are healthy and roll true. Wayward shots are usually not too costly.
27 holes in 3.5hrs ! Greens are in great condition albeit slow.
Good place for a quick and inexpensive round of golf for the average player. Easy course and reasonably maintained fairways and good greens though slow. Not very challenging but hey you don't loose balls ! The best thing is the unlimited play and on a day like yesterday or today with 75 Deg and bright blue NC skye, can't beat it !
Brevofield Golf Links
I have played Brevofield Golf Links numerous times. There has never been a wait although the pace can be slow depending upon when you go. The course is moderate, greens are well maintained but the bunkers lack the same attention. There are some challenging holes as there are several doglegs both right and left which require some skill. There are no bodies of water or bunkers that are problematic but you can certainly lose some balls in the woods on a few holes with narrow tee-shots. Most of the course is open field so its a great place for novice golfers but offers some challenges for the intermediate golfers as well.
Have been playing here for a while and it still is a challange!
Great coarse with a few challenging spots! Greens are still really good straight putts and quick.
Great place to work on your game
Great place to work on your game especially with a novice golfer, people were friendly, course was in pretty good shape.
Great course to play for seniors. Easy and great
Outstanding specials. Great specials. Can play any time and the staff matches single players with other players.
