Course can be summed up with conditions of parking lot
From the moment you pull into this course, one cannot help but to wonder where the money is spent from this courses’ management company. The club house looks like a wreck from the 1970’s and the staff seem to not care either. The last cart out is at 5 pm, so don’t book beyond this time or you’ll be walking. In the past, I’ve tried getting out for a round of 9 with a cart at 5:30 and was met with “the last carts out are at 5pm!”. Think about the business lost by to those looking to squeeze in a round of 9 especially playing as a single-maybe an hour and a half at the most. The conditions continue onto the course. Unmaintained fairways which play rock-hard and dilapidated bunkers mark the years of neglect they suffer. The greens are ok on some holes, but overall, you can add 5-10 strokes due to this poorly maintained hole course. It’s a shame, as there is much potential in this location! Not going back!
Bad.
Great course if the owner would put some money/work into it. Played 18 holes out of crabgrass fairways. Would not recommend going here. The course has outstanding layout and has potential to be top 10 courses in Tennessee but after years of neglect I won’t be back unless they have someone run it who actually cares.
This course is in rough shape
The course is in horrible condition. Years of neglect has made this my last trip. Too many better nearby options. Don't waste your time or money.
Narrow Mountain Course
Greens are in good shape, some fairways need some work as do the bunkers. Can certainly lose some balls here with narrow fairways and some water. Has some interesting holes, especially the end of the back nine. Giant boulders near the greens make for some interesting approach shots.
*Weed Lake Golf Course*
This course could be a great course. I've played there twice in the past month, gave it a second chance. This course has a good layout, but the fairways are basically concrete with almost no grass. My foursome could barely get lift on the ball; we practically overshot every stroke because the ball would roll and bounce everywhere. They almost need to re-sod the fairways on the entire course.
They also do not have a walking rate or a 9-hole rate, which I think they are therefore greatly disadvantaged from other courses in the Chattanooga area.
fun
it's a fun course with challenging shots.it has a lot of elevation changes snd beautiful views
