Camaloch Golf Club
About
Camaloch Golf Course is located within the Puget Sound "Sun Belt," which receives only half of the nearby rainfall of nearby courses. Its location on Camano Island also puts it at an advantage during the summer months when the temperatures rise up to the 90s on the mainland, the golf course stays cool thanks to the coastal breezes. The course first opened with nine holes in 1972 and expanded to an 18-hole course in 1991. Known for its smooth and consistent greens, Camaloch G.C. has long been a local favorite. The layout starts with a gentler front nine that features wide fairways and fewer hazards. The back nine becomes much more difficult with several holes that play over water. Camaloch Golf Course's undulating greens putt fast and true, and they are often accompanied by strategically placed bunkers.

A sloppy mess
Booked a time at 11:45am with an hour drive to get there , the 1130 spot was open as well. Got there much earlier than expected at 11 a.m. and checked in at the pro shop and asked if we could go off early since nobody was on the course. The pro said no we had to stick to the golf now tee time even though the 11:30 was still open and no one was on the Tee Box I would completely understand if the course was full but no one had a tee time until our 11:45. A beautiful day but they should have paid me for showing up to play this big sloppy mess. Do not go there in the winter time or wet conditions. On a side note the restaurant food and staff was excellent.
fun layout, great value
I play this course about 15 times per year just because of the value and quality of the greens.
King(s) of Camaloch
I love golfing at Camaloch GC no matter what the weather is. Greens are in great shape and roll true. Very few other golfers were there. Carts were “paths only” due to rain all week but we had a blast nonetheless. Staff is the friendliest in the area.
Food is top notch and prices are very reasonable.
I drive 25 miles to play there and go past other courses on the way due to the fact that Camaloch GC is a true diamond in the rough.
We are truly the “Kings of Camaloch” every time we play this course.
The course was poorly marked from highway
I shot an 81 so I'm not complaing of my score . I was constantly afraid of being hit from another fairway . Fairways a little narrow and up and down . Hit it over a few heads from tee box over some greens . We went because of high reviews , why not be honest . First and last
Great value, fun course
My wife and I have played the course several times and find the course challenging for us intermediate players. Greens are in great shape, true and fast. Great value!
couldn't pass up a $14 round
As usual this course has a lot to offer. End of summer and some fairways are mostly hard pan. The course was well maintained as usual as well. For the money, it was an incredible value. Watch your distances if you see a brown fairway as you may be penalized for a center cut layup, like me on #10(hard pan bounce and roll, into the water hazard)oops!
Good Course for the Money
I play this course every once awhile. Most of year the fairways are good, however in mid yo late summer the dry out considerably. The large greens reman beautiful, fast and true. The course just added two additional tee boxes on each hole, giving them a total of five. I liked the arrangement and it allowed me to select new ones that better fit my distance and skill level. The topography of the property required the course have a few quirky holes, which take away from the course, That said, for the money it's a fair value in a relaxed atmosphere.
Camaloch GC, Camano Isld.
A very nice course. Greens were in excellent condition, true & challenging. A very good value. Staff was especially friendly & helpful.
For first timers, the layout was a bit confusing, but signage was clear.
Beauty!
The course is great, greens where brilliant! Running fast and true! Also great rates for kids and staff were excellent! I will be back! Thanks again
Camaloch Good for the money
This is great course for the money. Greens are fast and fair, however the layout on the back nine is quirky,. The fairways are a little sketchy as to grass type and mowing.
This course was well kept
The greens on this course were amazing. Overall this course was in great shape. Although not a very hard course, the greens made it very challenging.
Nice course
I love to play here its not hard and it's not easy round but little challenge.
Course is dry even rains
Nice price too.
Friendly and relaxed atmosphere
Played this course on Saturday afternoon of Memorial Day weekend. The course itself is a bit eclectic versus other bigger name development courses in the area but it's a real fun course and has you smiling as you play it. The people are friendly and it's a relaxed stop at the turn.
It's worth a pit stop for food after playing especially on a sunny day. the atmosphere in the bar area is chilled there's a great selection of beer on tap and the fish and chips were fresh and tasty I will be back was worth the drive up from Seattle.
Nice layout pretty countryside setting
Coarse has a challenging layout in good shape for all the rain we've had
Hello. My name is Mike and I am the Director of Golf at Camaloch. I have read your comment and am sorry that you did not have the best experience when you played here. When people book a Tee Time via golfnow.com we always honor their tee time and get them out as close to that time as possible. However, there are many who unfortunately will book a golfnow hot deal time and them come in early, even hours early. For this reason, we have always offered a low cost option for players who wish to golf at a different time than their hot deal time. I am confident that this was explained to you during your visit. We do pride ourselves on the fantastic condition of our course. All local courses are wet at this time of year, however our greens are spectacular (even during the winter) and I do trust that you enjoyed the greens while the course was wet.
