Love playing this course! Has challenges that push me more(which I need)! Staff are always friendly & inviting!
Mint Valley
Fun course with an interesting layout. Some tight holes and some wide open holes. Nice mix of water hazards and bunkers. Not brutal, but challenging enough to keep you thinking. I played a terrible round but I really enjoyed the course. Will definitely visit again. Very busy on the day that I went. Played it on the Hot Deal and it was worth every penny.
Great shape
The current management has greatly improved the course. People are rediscovering the course. Lots of couples on the course today. Greens are in great shape.
Good value
Three Rivers is a good value on a hot deal. Among the most playable on the west side of the Cascades in the winter as it was built on ash dredged from the bordering Cowlitz river after Mt. St. Helen's blew. Very open and forgiving. The par 4 number 9 hole is in my opinion the most chalenging test in the area as it requires a well placed drive and a precision 2nd shot to a good sized green resting above a sizable waste hazard. As a low handicapper I'm always satisfied when I par The rare bird feels like an eagle. Though I play other local courses more often, Three Rivers is my go to for practice facilities.
Wonderful place
My wife and I began playing golf three weeks ago. Staff have been fabulous and supportive! My wife has been taking lessons from Jeff. My lessons begin Friday. Such a great place and experience that we bought a year’s membership!
Poor customer service
I played here about a week ago for my bachelor party. We were excited to pay and it ended up being very frustrating with the staff and they didn’t not accommodate us as we thought we should be. Their website is not managed well and the employees had no idea how what to do. Overall very frustrating. All we wanted was the free sleeve of balls and they wouldn’t give them to us. Would not reccomend

It is so nice to have a golf course so close to me & fun to play! The greens were well maintained! And there’s some real great deals so we are able to play more often!
Great course, anytime but early Saturdays.
Me and 7-11 of my friends had been playing here nearly every Saturday morning this year. But lately we have become a bit turned off. The new trend here with folks who have their own golf carts is to provide a classic rock concert experience for everyone on the course (Men's Club). Now I like my music as much as anyone, but not so much here. We were exactly 3 hours into our round, teeing off on #15 when the marshal told us we needed to start playing a scramble to "pick up our pace of play". We were finished at the club house in 3 hours and 40 minutes after we started, we felt like we were rushed on the last 3 holes and just killed what had been a great day (even with the constant rock concert playing in the background). I would recommend this course to anyone, but you might want to rethink early Saturday mornings.
Nice improvements to old stand by course
I played with my sons and we had an awesome time. Pace of play was very comfortable. Beer/food card available and staff friendly. I have been playing here since it opened and still one of my favorites to play.
DID NOT SPEND MUCH TIME AROUND PRO SHOP; So that is the rating.
Non-Driving range
The course, facilities, and pro shop operations staff get 5 stars in my book. Can’t find a better course for the price. Maintenance crew does a solid job A+.... That being said, if you are a man or woman that can absolutely nuke a golf ball I recommend you buy a large plot of land and cut some trees down rather than testing out that brand new Taylormade on this designated area they provide for such activities, titled “driving range”. Here You’ll find targets, pins, greens, and even a football goal post to aim at. Fun range. You might also notice that they have nets (almost) surrounding the range to protect people and equipment from slices, hooks, shanks, etc. What you won’t see is a net that protects the back fence and the maintenance shed but most importantly the houses and traffic along 42nd Avenue. Long hitters beware. Hit a Long straight tee shot and get the reward of finding yourself in legal trouble with a home owner. Perhaps you’d like to play it safe and aim to the right a bit... no way kimosabi. The maintenance shed may just be a metal box but the treasure hiding beyond this region is the real danger, in the form of a gun metal gray Toyota Tacoma owned by the maintenance head honcho and last years runner up in the Club tourney. I’ve seen him fly across the range and get into somebodies face just to let them know how well they hit a golf ball... Long hitters are people too, and they pay just like everyone else to enjoy the facility and work on their game. if they can’t afford to put up a net on the back of the driving range we should start the maintenance crew a GoFundMe page to see this through. ≈$500 dollar solution. The game is evolving, tee shots aren’t getting any shorter and if this issue isn’t solved I’m afraid that conflict is inevitable.
Tight Ship
The sport is evolving; so is Mint Valley. I haven’t seen things this organized over there since my much younger years... the Pro Shop has everything a golfer could possibly want or need. The staff brings their A game. The place just demands a new level of respect that you won’t find anywhere else for the prices they offer. Proud of my home course. Things are looking up!
Decent course, I play here often
My only complaint is the poor sand traps. But they are bringing in new sand and seem to be fixing them up, so hopefully, that will all be fixed soon. I love everything else about this course and it's pretty affordable.
