The County course, elevated
City- or county-owned municipal courses tend to connote mediocrity in the minds of most golfers. In Spokane, Washington, however, that is not the case.
Hangman Valley sits about 20 minutes south of downtown Spokane and is a model public golf facility. Solid design, very good conditioning and sub-$50 green fees combine with nice facilities and friendly people to form a course I would be happy to play regularly. Several elevated tee shots add some good drama to the course, including at the last hole, where golfers must fit their tee shots between a river on the left and the aqua range on the right. Expansive fairway-length grass around all the greens means short shot options are plentiful.

Great challanging course
Hangman is a great course to play with some very challanging hholes 2 of the 4 par 5s are 600 yard frome the blue tees.
I highly recommend playing here.
