About
Luck Golf Club sits along the southern shores of Big Butternut Lake. Throughout the course golfers will enjoy scenic lake views. The diverse landscape provides the course with 10 holes that play across dramatic hills studded with forests of mature pines and hardwoods while the rest of the holes cross more gently rolling terrain accented with towering maple and oak trees. The trees line the fairways and frame the greens. On many holes there are significant changes in elevation both on the fairways and from the tee to the green. Tricky uneven lies await you as well as a few blind shots. Luck Golf Club's seventh hole is the course's signature. This dogleg right par-4 has a long, narrow green that is guarded in the front by a stone-lined pond and a menacing cluster of trees stands behind the green.

Things I liked:
- The conditions were excellent.
- Great use of hills… they add a good challenge but are not overwhelming.
- Lots of challenging and visually appealing golf holes… particularly south of the road.
- On the day I played, they were starting groups on the back 9. After playing the course, I think the back 9 should be the front 9.
- Staff were friendly and helpful.
Things I did not like:
- Fairways were not well marked, and I was lost for yardages at times.
- Some of the greens are “tricked up” with their speed and undulations (like #7).
- Slower groups were not letting faster groups play thru.
Things important to me:
- Rates are posted on the course website.
- Though hilly in parts, I did walk this course and would walk it again.
- Don't recall any water coolers out on the course.
- Pretty cool branded ball marker.
When in luck
It was a great outing for the first of many adventures this season.
Fun Course
Nice mix of woods and open areas. Only complaint is they allow a lot of fivesomes and even a six domes once in a while.

Love playing this course. Always in great condition.
Challenging and Besutiful
I use every club in the bag when I play this layout. Right to left, left to right, elevated greens and tee boxes, water hazards trees that can come into play even when in the fairway, challenging greens, and beautiful scenery, this course has it all. Beautiful flower beds welcome you to each tee box. Play in the fall and the course lights up with spectacular colors. The friendly staff and delicious food and beverage values are always the perfect complement to my round. Regardless of the score I shoot, it’s always an awesome experience!

I’ve loved this course every time I play. I’ve played on this course over the past 13 years.
A Wonderful Golf Course
I am 73 years old, and have been golfing since I was 10. I have played courses all over Wisconsin and in states from coast to coast. We have a cottage near Webb Lake, and I love to golf at Luck. It is a challenging course and very well kept. I have taken many good friends to Luck, and they have positive things to say about the course too. Keep up the good work, and I will be back. Life is good!

Course not that good of shape but will give it pass as there was a lot of rain the day before.
Fantastic value for the price
Horse was gorgeous. Several cars in the parking lot, but no waiting, good pace of play

Very welcoming staff and membership. Course is in great shape but there are a few funky holes!
Great community golf course
This is a great community golf course. They support local community businesses, organizations and veterans prices are set so that everybody can pay and have a good time. Hospitality can't be beat.
Nice layout!
1st time playing in Luck, nice layout, challenging! Some storm damage still evident but didn’t affect play! Our threesome was impressed. Will come back!
