Rivermoor Golf Club
About
Originally opened in 1929 as the Waterford Woods Golf Course, the club reemerged in 2008 as the Rivermoor Golf Club. Along with its new name, the club also revealed improvements to the playability and condition of the 18-hole course. The design of the golf course was largely determined by the scenic topography, which is covered with mature trees and dotted with ponds. There are also a few streams that meander across the landscape. Rivermoor Golf Club is a proud member of the Audubon Sanctuary System. Beyond providing a secluded setting and great scenery, the terrain also makes for a challenging round. The trees frame most of the holes and water hazards come into play on a few holes. There are also strategically placed bunkers with which to contend.

Great Day at Rivermoor GC
Fun afternoon of golf at a classic course.
Book your round today.
Dry greens
Played this course multiple times. Some holes are very challenging and some are wide open. Today the greens were brown. Play was still enjoyable.
The course was in okay shape. Been better in the past. Tee boxes were pretty rough and not level. The staff is really nice pro shop and the bar area.
Overall I would go back.
Wed on the links
Course in good shape as per usual, cart service on course frequent, friendly plus got paired up with two great people a father and son. Very nice day !
Unfortunately in bad shape
Tee boxes were long, fairways were not trimmed, greens were decent but the players the course attracts do not fix ball marks. Could understand the weather this summer has not been the best for maintaining a quality turf and firmness of the ground. However there were many areas of grass less rock hard dirt. Bunkers were dried out and not drugged before round. Pace of play was horrendous. Took over 5 hours to play. I have not played the course in many years. Do not remember The course being so bad. But it’s hard for me to find any positives about the course. The only one that comes to mind is the course layout other than some holes playing along side each other and slightly feeling like your crowded. It has a good course layout, that is challenging and also fun to play. With the influx in golf over the last couple years. There should be no reason the course doesn’t have the resources to be in better shape. With that being said I don’t not know what kinda of irrigation the course has but I would be surprised if they had any. Don’t mean to rant but I would have thought twice about spending my money if I would have seen an honest review on here. And maybe the review were not dishonest but from golfers that just don’t have as much experience nor care about the quality of the course due to their level or infrequent amount of play. I wish I would have taken photos. I would recommend spending your money elsewhere.
Open fairways
I played single and felt like I had the course to myself although there were others playing the layout kept you apart.
Fairways were long and forgiving, although I found the sand when it was close. Some holes were challenging with the greens and the sand so close.
Was just visiting, can't wait to come back and play again.
