Excellent course conditions, beautiful scenery
I have played Watertown Country Club numerous times, including WSGA and USGA events.
I have found this course to be in excellent condition with a beautiful layout. Multiple willow trees protect greens and a creek running through the course adds a few risk/reward opportunities.
I have no idea where the previous, anonymous,
negative review of this course is coming from in their comments, but they are maliciously false. It’s a shame that all people can’t use this website for constructive feedback of courses.
Worst course I have played in over two years
Course was in terrible shape compared to other country clubs as well as some county courses. Brown Deer would put this course to shame.
Pitiful driving range with balls older than me.
Markings on the course are very poor providing way to many unpleasant surprises!
Beautiful
I can't explain why, but I can't describe how much I loved Watertown. The long willow trees to tucked par-4s truly made this course a joy. Playing in my first USGA event, I still found a way to enjoy the railroad tracks and running creek. It was one of the few courses where I truly found myself lost in nature in the middle of Wisconsin. Loved it!
