Greens in Perfect Condition
Always enjoy playing. Great layout with interesting and varied holes. Greens court een better. Tees and fairways great. Bunkers are fantastic.
The Legends at Orange Lake
Very nice course!! Well maintained, friendly staff, and challenging course, just enough water, sand and trees to keep you focused on every shot. A real treat!!
No yardage markers
This course is ok Not great not bad
Two major issues for me. No GPS on carts and no yardage markers on sprinkler heads so judging your distance was awful.
I played with a second single golfer. We went out behind a slow foursome which never left us play through. The round to 90 minutes longer thanit should have. No ranger to control pace of play. No golfers within 4 holes of this group.
Not the first time slow foursomes held us back on this course.
Came Back
We make an annual trip to Orlando for a week of golf and Orange Lake Legends was always on our list until a few years ago when we stopped going and course conditions declined. We gave it a try again this year after a two year absence. It is much improved from tee to green. We will definitely be back next year.
Thanksgiving
Great time although no one advised that greens were sanded and fertilized making putting problematic. $51 green fee was excessive with this problem.
Otherwise course in good condition. Friendly staff
No one on course. Everyone eating turkey
Scottish golfer
Enjoyed our game over the course. Have played the course on numerous occasions and have always found it in good condition. Pace of play was reasonable.
Only Course to Play at Orange Lake!
Orange Lake Legends is a very nice layout. Holes are interesting, varied and challenging. Today was a great day as I made par on 18, easily the most challenging hole on the course. Pace of play was okay, however, course would benefit from a marshal. A couple jumped in at 10 tee and all we could do was WAIT! And then slowly follow them... my playing partner had enough and quit to go to the pro shop and complain. At the price I paid to play this course it was an absolute steal. Course is immaculately playable.
Pleasantly Impressed
Love the course. Love the layout. Greens were true to read. Conditions of the course we enjoyed with no complaints. What a nice round in November in Orlando.
Not worth the price
We played 5 rounds of golf in 4 days, at 4 different courses from Golf Now...this was the last round.
The price per person was two - three times more expensive than the other Golf Now deals we had.
The course is beautiful....just not worth paying that much more....$ 200 for two.
The conditions were great...greens included. There is no GPS on the carts which is disappointing for the price.
The restaurant was not open. Really ?
Cart girl showed up once and then again when we were almost finished.
However, that being said, we thoroughly enjoyed the course itself.
Anyone , of any handicap will enjoy playing here.
Recommended to Play
This was a very Nice Course and would love to play it again. Only issue is that I had was they slipped a group in at the turn in front of me that made it a slow play for the last 9 holes.
Fun and challenging course
Played this course 5 times over the past 3 yeras and always find it enjoyable. The welcome is always friendly and the amenities good. Unusually the pace of play on this occasion was slow but to you play on a Saturday (change over day) the course is practically empty.
Only negative comment is that there are small patches of fiairway missing on the first PAR 5 which seemed to be used for turf ? This has been the same each time I’ve played the course,
Overall another excellent enjoyable day’s golf.
Will Return
Having read some of the reviews I couldn’t quite believe that I had played the same course. A course doesn’t go from terrible to super in the space of two weeks. The only problem I had was the fact that there was a School Qualifier being played and had I known this I would never have booked to play on the same day. It took five hours for our round, the only saving grace was the fact that we had been paired with another couple and it didn’t seem like five hours.
The course was in really good condition and although the greens were on the slow side they were running true. There is a little sand on a few greens but nothing to moan about. This course, with only a few wet areas, was by far the driest course I have played in the last three weeks. I look forward to returning, but alas it will have to be next year !
Enjoyable round
Pro shop staff excellent as were the bar staff. The course was in good condition considering the weather.
