Bomb away
Don't rely on GPS takes you back of course Wide open fairways, some middle fairway bunkers to be aware. No sand in bunkers and water, need to address this with drainage possibly French drains. Fairways to green excellent coverage. Some greens look like they have chemical burn lines, otherwise they roll nice. Third time playing, first time no wind and it plays easy without it blowing. Nice open track with excellent value.
Great course
Great course. Will definitely return. The only problem was the slow pace of play.. No marshall to tell people to pick up the pace.
Cart Path Issues
I have mentioned the corrible condition of the cart paths on almost the whloe course. VERY VERY BAD!! Put a little money and fix this!
Upgrade seem to be coming
They are putting more sand in the traps. Lot of the golf carts seem to be taking quite a beating as seats are ripped
Great course! Good time
You have the best staff working there than any course we have played!!!
Greens the best part.
Long and open, fairways lush, off areas either dirt or a challenging mix. Balls from other holes common, no one yells “fore”, a mixed batch of golfing skill sets, be on guard. Greens a nice combination of smooth, mid-fast, semi-soft.
Bar/Clubhouse was closed at 4:30 (?)
Has a decent layout, mostly open, wind can effect scoring. A few ponds, decent bunkers.
Weekend play can be agonizingly slow. Good value as relatively cheap compared to other options.
Typical Winter Golf in AZ
Groups in carts can't get off in time which means walkers get pushed all day long even though walkers are waiting on every tee. No marshals, no control. Fairways are beautiful but thick, not a lot of roll-out. If you are not on the fairway, you are on hardpan and gravel/stones most of the time. Bunkers are akin to hardpan as well. Greens were OK ran into a few volcano holes. Best short game practice facility offered in the area,
Course in good shape overall, cart paths need some work
Tee Boxes and Fairways
The tee boxes and fairways were a bit long, you should never be penalized for being on the fairway.
Good shape
The course was in excellent shape. Fairways were green and greens were true but fast.
