Ran us out w/ no refund & no reply to my email.
We paid for 4 people ($150.) & told the man only 2 players because our son was a beginner & needed more time. We made it to the sand pit (1st hole) & the same man was cross armed staring. My husband asked what was up? He said we were taking too long & needed to keep up with the players in front. Duh! We know the rules. We reminded him we have a beginner & that we paid for a little bit of extra time. He responded " I don't care if you paid for 8 people!" The 2 men behind us were already hitting balls into us but he showed no concern about that! We felt bullied by this guy so my husband said ok then, we'll leave & get a refund. He said fine, I'll talk to them up there. Inside the office we were told by Brian there are no refunds. We told him we made it 3/4 through the 1st hole before we were harassed & had only been playing for a few min.
The next morning I emailed Jeff & Jess, the owners, requesting a refund & fully explaining how upset we all were with the situation. It has been more than 7 days & I havent heard their reply or received the refund.
I would NEVER recommend this course. I used to live in the PCC for quite a few years & know its history. Being designed in 1971 doesnt make you so fancy that you cant treat people with respect.

Good deal / golf now
Course was in very good shape .. a lot of slope / up and down type holes.
Great Find
Drove from Camp Verde(30min) to play and glad we did. Excellent course on all levels-conditions, layout, pace of play(3.5hrs), snack bar and staff friendliness. If we were staying longer we’d play again!
NO BEV CART
If you enjoy any beverage (soda, water or alcohol ) there seems to be a big issue. Last several outings there has not been course coverage.
Got rained out
Started off great with the weather, it’s been on/off rain days for over a week. But the thunderstorms caught up, there’s no rain checks but overall got a great front nine in. The layout is great and fairways always good greens ran medium which makes it good for putting. I always enjoy playing this course and will always come back!
Gem
Everything was great about this course except the person checking us in was not especially nice. My wife wanted to see some sunglasses and he just disregarded her.
First time but not the last
Moved to the Prescott area last fall , after 50 years in AZ. Played many AZ courses first time to play Prescott GC. Greens were in really good shape , course is dormant but very playable!
good value for the money.
Thoroughly enjoyed
Enjoyed the course, great condition. Love the GPS system on the cart
Best non- private in the area
Pretty nice greens. Fairways are adequate and bunkers need work. People are friendly and pace of play is usually good.
Glad I tried it
Not the most difficult course around, but enjoyable to play and won’t beat you up. Excellent conditions other than some of the bunkers. Great greens. I felt it was a good value for money. Course was busy but our foursome finished in less than 4 hours which was appreciated. All staff encountered were pleasant, especially the woman in the snack shack.
Great course and pace of play
The course is in good shape except for some of the bunkers. There are some rough spots here and there but that is to be expected this time of year. I hear they are working on fixing the bunkers . Most of the staff is great. I say most but I really mean all but one individual. I try to avoid this individual but sometimes it can’t be helped since he works the desk where you check in. Just a cranky guy who needs to be ignored.
Great course for the money
I was expecting the course to have some work being done, but there wasn’t. It was just well maintained. Overall, it was a great experience out there for the money. Over the last few months I’ve played some courses that cost more than this one and they were terrible for the amount I had to pay. Very much satisfied and will definitely be going back there again soon if this weather holds out.
UPDATE: We did receive an apology & a refund.
