Power Ranch Golf Club
About
With its neighbors being the Santan Range and Superstition Mountain, it is no wonder Power Ranch Golf Club (formerly known as Trilogy Golf Club at Power Ranch) is known for its spectacular views. Although this championship golf course is near a residential area, the course architect, Dick Bailey, insists the homes were routed to accommodate the golf course and not vice versa. The holes amble through the cleansed desert of the Queen Creek wash, which features plenty of interesting elevation changes. Strategically placed mounding and bunkers are situated throughout the golf course. Water hazards also come into play on a few holes. Four sets of tee boxes are available to test experienced golfers and allow beginners to enjoy Power Ranch Golf Club as well.

How come I always have to hit my ball here? Photo submitted by cofgrindr8 on 12/10/2013
I like to play Trilogy at Power Ranch and have for many years. I live just 5 miles away. The last few experiences have irritated me enough that the course is losing its luster. The course was in good shape especially the greens. A lot of the staff has gone down hill. The pace of play, lack of employee presence, including a Marshall. We had a threesome the last time we played super early in the morning with no one in front of us I was exited to get a fast round in. They stuck a single with us and it changed the entire dynamic of our round. I don't mind a pairing when its tight with groups front and back but this was ridiculous, send him out in front of us. It also used to be a more friendly environment lately the feeling has been its a privilege for us to play the course. When I can get past all of this the course is really great.
Our Day at Power Ranch
Course was very welcoming to all level of Golfer
Greens were very firm tho
Pace of play was great.....3.25 hrs for the two of us in a cart
Slow, hard as a rock, overpriced.
This is one of those pretentious courses where the local members play very slow. The course was very hard, especially the greens. They have gps to make sure you don't drive on the dirt, and special signs to tell you were to enter and exit the fairway. That would be fine if they were trying to preserve the.comdition of a well kept course, but this is like an average muni course.
Start!
They put me behind 8 ladies groups, They could have started me on 10tee?????
Nice!
The Course Was Good, and Good For The Money.. Very Nice!
