About
Located in the city of Mesa, the Royal Palms golf course is a nine-holer with a risk-and-reward style layout. Royal Palms offers a mix of par 3s and par 4s that is suitable for all skill levels of golfer. Although it is a short course, there are challenges to keep golfers on their toes. Two lakes form water hazards that come into play on over half of the holes. Royal Palms G.C. also has strategically placed sand bunkers throughout the entire design that can affect shots.

Slow
I don't know if it was all of the snow birds or they are over booking but the pace has been super slow the lady 5+ times I have played here. This last time we were stacked up 4 deep on hole six. In the summer I can play in about an hour. Right now plan on closer to 3 hours.
My 2nd Visit at Royal Palms GC
This was my second time playing at Royal Palms golf course. Linda behind the counter is very friendly and always has a smile on her face! The golf course is in pretty good condition, although the greens are a bit too fast and could use some work but other than that it’s an enjoyable place to play a nine hole round of golf I will be back again.
Good local course
Course is kept up and in good condition compared to some others in this price range.
The course was really backed up with some very slow women playing.
The tees were being redone.
The greens were good.
Casual play with some challenges from the water & sand traps. Very short course that can be easily walked but great also with a riding cart because we have some physical concerns.
Staff
This course has the best staff ever. He works the pro shop then comes out to be the starter. Thank you Jeff for the excellent customer service.
Excellent job by the starter on the first hole. Pace of play was perfect. Great job.
