Westbrook Village Golf Club - Vistas Course
About
The Vistas Course at Westbrook Village Golf Club is one of two 18-hole courses offered at the facility. The golf course has a links-style design with different challenging elements but it still enjoyable for beginners and advanced players alike. There are out-of-bounds stakes and several doglegs on the course as well as water hazards that come into play on a few holes. Located in the Northwest Valley, residential communities border the course but coyotes can sometimes be found roaming the greens. The Vistas Course has four sets of tee boxes so golfers can adjust their game according to their handicaps and abilities.

Reviews
Unfriendly staff
They have a starter that does more harm than good. This is a prime example of a course that needs to not participate on GolfNow. Not a friendly atmosphere. They need to stick to being a private course. The Lakes course is much better.
very well maintain
Nice fairways and greens were rolling nice will play again when good price on Golfnow comes available
Great Deal
The course is in amazing condition! Great value. Lush greens, smooth greens.
Great Course
Have played this course a few times, always enjoy it, will play it again
Course conditions
The Westbrook Vista course will always be one of my favorites! Its challenging, yet allows you to try every club in your bag. I highly recommend!!
Fairways were good, Greens Amazing, Rough was Dry
This was the first course my wife and I played while on Vacation in the Phoenix area. Perfect course to shake the cob webs off our game after too long of a winter in Minneapolis. A Relatively easy course to play with some challenging holes, but not many. We were paired up with another couple. The pace of play was lightning fast. 3 hours and 45 minutes. The greens were smooth and fast. For the green fees we paid via golfnow.com this course was well worth it.
nice course tucked into community
Had a good time playing the course for the first time. We started off on the back nine by mistake but wasn't a problem for staff-played the front nine afterwards. Greens were a bit sandy; Found it odd that they didn't sell alcohol on the course and didn't have a cart girl at all. They could only sell alcohol in the facility and you couldn't take it onto the course. That's ok-now we know you can byob next time. Overall, had a great day.
Great back side
Westbrook Vista was a fun and challenging course. It was a user friendly course with good conditions; very pleasant atmosphere. The back side had very interesting holes.
Excellent Facility
Range, Putting area, greens, fairways are perfect condition. Thhey pace out groups nicely here, never overcrowd course. My only complaint is the greens are a little "fuzzy" compare to other courses this time of year and you leave a lot of short putts. Greens are always slow at Westbrook, so spend a lot of time on the practice green getting a feel for a extra long stroke. Nice to play a lush course for a great price.
Nice Sunday on the course
Well run facility. Shop and cart personnel very friendly. Carts very clean. Practice facility is excellent. Course in very good condition, a little wet in some places but over-seeding is excellent. Pace of play excellent. I've played this course every winter for over ten years and this year it is at its best.
I will play this course again and again
A great day of golf. Started with lunch that was delicious, and served quickly. The golf staff was welcoming and gave clear instructions on procedures. The range facilities and balls were handy and you could hear the tee announcements clearly. We had a 2:22 PM Tee time in January and played all 18 holes before dark (3 hrs and 45 Mn). Then finished the day with drinks with a wonderful couple that we were paired with.
Nice course
Well kept and challenging. Nice friendly staff. Will return.
Really good value.
Greens were fantastic. Fairways, tee boxes and sand traps all in great shape.
Winter overseeding excellent.
Played on Sunday afternoon in 3.75 hours. Greens, tees and fairways in excellent shape. Easy walk except the distance between #9 green and #10 tee. always liked this layout, easy enough but can be a bit of a challenge from back tees.
Player friendly course
This is a very straight forward course. No spectacular holes but all are well maintained and the greens are in great shape. Because it is so average I would not want to pay full price to play but with the Golf Now rates is was well worth it.
Westbrook Lakes Great Course to Play
We enjoyed this round at the Lakes at Westbrook Village.... Pace was perfect - Course was in great condition - staff extra friendly. Generally everyone - staff and golfers seemed very friendly. Will go back again!
Fairways and greens in very good shape after reseeding
From Blues -6K yds--good challenge. Pace of play average-should finish 18 in 3.75 hrs
This course is in good condition.
They keep the course in good condition year round. Usually can play a round in about 4 hours here.
42 groups on the course at once. 8 hr round pace.
The course is in good shape, but I went on a random Tuesday afternoon and it was obscenely overbooked.
It took me 1:45 to play the first four holes. I waited around 10-15 minutes for every shot that wasn't a putt.
After the 4th hole I started driving ahead to see if it lightened up. Between the 4th hole and the 18th, I passed 37 groups, none of whom could hit the ball more than 150 yards or break 100.
I found 1 hole to sneak between foursomes and play on the way in. It took me 4 and a half minutes to make par. After that I drove the rest of the course and went and hit balls for an hour instead.
Do not play here unless you have a foursome of seniors and don't mind a 7 to 8 hour round.
Not a great design but enough variety to keep you interested.
Course had excellent turf considering they just came off overseeding. Greens don't have much undulation so they aren't very challenging. I would expect you could play this course under your handicap if you played it a few times. Houses are very close to fairways on occasion. You could lose a ball over the fences if you hit it crooked. Expect to run into slow groups ahead of you as you will at any Sun City course.
I have played over 100 rounds there. He is describing a different course. Eight hour round? Nonsense. Last wednesday we did 3:04. Hope to go sub 3 when I get in shape.
