Stardust Golf Course at Sun City West
About
The executive-length Stardust Golf Course has a traditional layout that has just the right amount of challenges to make it suitable for all levels and abilities. The terrain is subtly rolling, causing a few uneven lies. The fairways are lined on both sides with stately trees, providing plenty of shade around the tees and greens. Water hazards come into play on three holes and there are also sand bunkers strategically situated throughout the course. In addition to the course there are also practice facilities including a putting green and chipping area. The Stardust Golf Course facility requires that guests come accompanied by a member in order to play.

amazing greens
best greens i've played in AZ. super friendly staff. I can't wait to play here again
Stardust GC
Golf Course was in perfect shape. Fun Par 60 round of golf - good variety of holes - helpful staff - finished in 3 hours.
New Favorite Executive
This is our 2nd time at Stardust. It is now our favorite executive course to walk. One of the better chip/pitch/bunker/putting practice areas that we have experienced. Course fairways and greens are in excellent condition. Has a couple of longer par 3s that are driving length for me so club usage is optimal. Staff is very friendly and course seems to be well managed. Great ecperince while also being affordable
Will be back
Nice executive course with 6 par 4’s. Easily walkable. Greens were in great condition.
We will be back.
Nice layout fun track
A fun executive course. Thank goodness for the course marshal as he got the tee box organized as the pro shop was a little confused. They need to fix their PA system so one knows when they are called to the first tee. Bu all in all a fun track and friendly people.
Fun Course
This was my first game since last summer. The course was just right. Challenging, yet reasonably forgiving if my shots didn't go as planned. Greens were not easy, but not too hard. I'll play there again soon.
What a perfect little (not so little) course!
Took my 10-year-old son who enjoyed the Jr. tees out there with another adult. The staff was extremely friendly to him and me. The course is in perfect shape and has well-guarded greens for the most part. The tee boxes are in great shape and the course is fun. 6 par 4's make this executive course feel much longer than it is. Returning later this week due to such an amazing day out on a really fun track, worth walking as well.
Fun executive course
Great place to enjoy a great layout for an executive course. Greens and fairways in excellent shape.
A Gem of a golf course
This executive course offers a great layout with well shaped greens providing the need for a good short game. Just an excellent executive course with challenging par 3s some over 200 yards.
This course is the best value in the area.
Great executive course. A challenge for all skill levels.
Great day!
Stardust golf course was a perfect way for my husband and I to start our new year. The course layout and condition of the course was excellent as was the staff and their friendliness. We were able to get on quickly and moved along at a very good pace, we will continue to play this course throughout the year. Gratefully, Roslyn and Ken.
Carts SUCKED!!!
Course was nice. Carts SUCKED! No tee or ball holder. No ice box. No larger cup holders. Everything spilled. Dealbreaker for us. Will not be returning.
Pin placement
It was a gorgeous day and the course is in very good shape. Some of the pin locations were a tad ridiculous. This coming from a guy that enjoys a good challenge. It's not enough to keep me from playing the course again, though.
Well established executive 18
Slow on the front but back 9 was quick. Course was in good shape…greens were slow.
Nice Course
Stardust is an executive course. That means there are zero par-5 holes, 6 par-4s, and 12 par-3s. But don't let that fool you; there are some tough holes. But more on that in a minute.
This course is walkable (I did). Also, it is roomy for an executive course built into a neighborhood. There were some strategic places to miss.
The course was dry because they were getting ready to shut down for overseeding. But not extremely so. The greens were still in pretty good shape, if a little hard to hold. There is water on several holes, but it wasn't too penal. The bunkers were in good condition, too. Finally, there was discernable rough, but it wasn't at all penal.
The layout was straight-forward with little to offer in terms of challenging shots or decisions regarding which line to take. The greens weren't particularly small, but they were difficult to get at sometimes--raised, with little opportunity to run the ball up. That's too bad because....
There were some looong holes. Two or three par-3s over 200 yards, at least two par-4s over 400 yards, and a lot of other yardage in-between. Running it on the green was difficult. And there were only a few par-3s calling for a wedge.
I want to play it again when it recovers from overseeding. I'd like to see it with the greens with water.
The clubhouse was tiny--one room where half was the snack bar and half was the golf shop. Seating indoors and out. The course was packed with people, almost all of whom were retired and older than me, and I'm 64! But everyone was friendly and most seemed to know each other.
Yeah, I'll be back.
Great Course
I’ve never played here before, but what a nice little course this is. The layout is really fun and the course is in outstanding shape. The fairways have mounding and undulations all over and there are certainly challenges on this course. It has a lot of par 3s, being an executive course, but it’s not a pitch and putt. I played from the tips and there are 4 par 3s over 200 yards, including one at 225 yards. The par 4s are also decent length, with all of the well over 300 yards, including 385, 389 and 400 yards. This was a good find, although it might be hard to get on once the snowbirds all come back. This has to be one of the best executive courses in the valley, certainly in the west valley.
Cart Rental
Beautiful course and well taken care of however the golfcart rental far overshadows the course. Due to the heat we decided to rent a golfcart rather than walk and being charged $16 per rider to rent a golfcart is ridiculous. The most I have ever paid was $12 in prime season, most of the time it is $6 or included. The golfcart fee is enough for me to never place Stardust again.
