For overseed season the coursewas wet and green. The greens played at the perfect speed . Better than the $40 courses. . The food was comparible. The staff friendly and, the pace was to be expected for a 9 hole facility with prices that suit the juniors and golfers of all ages. And the replay rates are a great value, $45 for two adults and a junior for 18 holes...... great value.

This course is pretty bad. I would give it a 1.5 out of 10. It's dead or dying everywhere but the greens. Many of the holes are little more than dirt 5 feet outside the fairway. It's a 9 hole course, and If you pay anything more than 17 dollars, which is what i paid, you are paying too much.
I'm a 19 hcp. and it was extremely easy from the tips.
To be fair - the condition of the greens is the one thing I can speak positively about for course in such a state of decay. They were mostly green, and rolled surprisingly well. For 17 dollars I have no complaints about the putting surface.

Conclusion: If you live or work near there, this course serves it's purpose as a 1 hour round of nine holes to zip through and tune up your irons as a practice round for 18 on a real course. Otherwise, don't waste your gas money driving to this trailer park disguised as a golf course.

Player Tip: Don't go looking for lost balls in the trees along the creek in the middle of the course. There are transients that live in there - scary business.

Poor direction after check in, they let a group cut in front of us; guy behind counter not pleasant.
Greens way too hard. People behind us hit into us a couple times, in a hurry to go no where. Took about 2 hours for 2 of us, waited for two some a head of us but we had no where to go. No sand in the bunkers.
Black tee markers off to the side of tees. You get what you pay for.

I booked a time to golf with my wife and her friend. My wife hadn't played in many years so we booked 9 holes. Very enjoyable round. The day was overcast and cool, temps in the 60's so very few golfers out, which was nice as they didn't feel rushed or pressured. We enjoyed our round very much and look forward to another round soon. The course is a nice mix, executive style with one par 5 and a couple of par 4's. You cross the wash twice that adds a liitle challenge and rewards a good shot. We will be playing again soon. The course is a little rough around the edges but the greens ran true and fair and were cut tight not chia pet long like some value courses I have played. A good value.

The staff is not friendly. They are short and bothered on the phone and visibly annoyed by golfers in person. The course looks like the maintenance staff was fired months ago and nobody was hired to replace them. This place has potential but seems to be run by people that have given up.

We had a good experience playing the course. Staff were friendly and helpful. The carts are in good condition. The golf course was opened during reseeding but was still in good condition. One area was challenging where the ball needed to go across riverbed but we still enjoyed it.

The greens were the best part of the course. The rest of it was really torn up. The fairways had hardly any grass, and the areas around the greens were mostly barren except sparse clumps of quack grass that made chipping a chore. I likely won't be playing here again.

Wide fairways and some long holes give us plenty of practice on the long shots. A couple of holes where loft is the only way to cross a rocky gully, makes it interesting. We like this course, for a nine hole it has some challenges and you can usually play with just your group, not being combined with someone else.

A friend and I played there last Friday morning at 6.38am, first ones off. He had been to Rio Salada before and enjoyed it. Well so did I, The ridge along the water on many holes made you try to avoid that by hitting straight, some bunkers guarding greens for an occasional challenge. I'll be back.

Course is in pretty decent condition although a couple of the tee boxes were sparse. With 3 sets of tee boxes you get to use most clubs in your bag but you definitely use your short irons a lot. Rate of play is good at 2 hours on a week-end. The pro shop attendant/starter looks "mean" but is super friendly and helpful. At $29 for 2 players with a power cart on the weekend, it was of really good value.

The course had a few holes that were challenging, the golfers did tend to not be spaced enough though. The course is maintained, could use some help in some spots. The driving range is a little too close to the parking lot. Plenty of shade spots to stop your cart in between holes. Won't become our home course, but definitely our back up/go to for a round.

This course is a gr8 value. However there are a few things that can be done for improvement and they are simple things. #1- There are problems with some of the staff behind the counter with absolutely no customer skills. I've had dealings with two of them and they are very, very rude. It seems as they can only handle one thing at a time. #2- A marshall should be added for the younger people out there who come to drink and whatever else they're doing. It's evident they are not there to play golf, rather to run carts through fences, tear up fairways by spinning brodies, driving through bunkers. I would also add my other complaint is that most golfers here, have no ettiquette towards the course. They don't fix ball marks, and as we all know this can damage the greens. Also we've seen several divots on the greens aa golfer missed a putt and was angered not at themselves, but at the green. A complete lack of respect. They don't rake bunkers either. I know the course sup. there and to try and give a luxurious course with no cooperation from the management there is near impossible there. With all said,I will continue to play there and will recommend this course to others.
