Blind par 3 was fun! Photo submitted by Logan5691443 on 08/23/2020
Poor greens
Very busy and slow play. Greens are terrible even for winter.
Surprising Course with Challenges
I was shocked to see a large amount of elevation changes for a course in southern Louisiana. Number of tee boxes on the front nine and greens are at different elevations than the rest of the hole. Really enjoyed Hole 9 and Hole 4! Hole 4 is a blind approach up a hill and made for a really challenging finish. Would highly recommend this course to someone looking for friendly staff, good food, and great course lay out. Will definitely be coming back!

Better conditions
Greens were smooth but slow. Had to wait 10 minutes past tee time for a cart to become available. Fairways were firm. Course played well and pace of play was a little under 4 hours. Would play again!
Good course
OverLl good course, working to make it a great course. .a little pricey but I will play it again!!!
This is a great little 18 hole course. Easily walkable and good value. Only negative are the greens. Slow slow greens and what a shame, only negative on the day. Cut the greens please
Not for that price
Zero chance this course should be more than $35. The rain last month hurt them and they haven't cut the green properly in a month. Carter Plantation 10 miles away for $45 is 1000x better value.
Nice layout in very poor condition.
Course has a nice old school layout, greens and fairways are in terrible condition. Might try it again late spring.
Long Gone
This is the course I grew up playing. It started going down years ago and I heard it had gotten better so decided to go play. The greens on 3, 7, 9, & 18 are almost unplayable. Most of the other greens are more mud than grass. Fairways look like hayfields and are extremely hard and lumpy. It’s almost better to hit your drive into the rough. This track has so much potential but needs a lot of TLC.
Oak Knoll
Course was a little wet and was cart path only. Course was in good shape and not crowded so we played at our own pace.
From "N'awlins" to "Knollins"
Since I was traveling to the "North Shore" for a dental appointment I decided to see what courses were available to play. I found a nice price on Golf Now (the booking fees and taxes bumped-up the price). I was pleasantly surprised with the course. Since its total length is less than the courses I normally play, I expected a less challenging experience. While the course starts off with some smaller length Par 4s there are several longer ones to challenge the golfer who thinks it will be an easy day. While the course is smaller in length, it's layout adds to the difficulty. This is an excellent course for the average golfer and even the "big hitters" will find it a good play. One thing I noticed is that there were a number of players walking the course, so if that's "your game" then this is good course for you. Finally, I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food at the diner although you may want to check the price of the soups first, mine was a bit overpriced. A good experience overall!
Golf game
Great place, love the course, was wet today, but we’ve had rain the last 2 weeks straight, not much Sunlight to dry course, but still a great day!
Over priced if paying standard green fees.
The course was very wet and cart path only throughout. The standard price of over $50.00 is way too high for this course. Thanks to Golf Now we only paid just under $20.00 each (incl. fees and tax). That is what the standard rate should be for this course. The course is very flat and the only challenge is the small greens. The greens are in pretty good shape and roll true.
