Can't beat the price
Golf course was in good shape, however, there were many spots on the fairways and rough that were wet or muddy due to the abundant rain from previous weeks. Bunkers were hit or miss with numerous bunkers having barely any sand.
The pin placements today were quite unfair with them being 4 paces from edges or atop an area where there is a bowl or hill with heavy break.
For the price, this was cheaper and more of a value than many of the courses in the Inland Empire who are charging $100+ for a weekend morning round.
My go to
Course has a nice scenic view since its on a hill. Conditions are always good here. They really keep the greens up often. Coming back as many times i can.
Ike Course Review
Greens in great shape and very fast, Bunkers very hard as we played after several days of rain.
I was upset that the very cool Tram/Gondola at the end of the front 9 was out of commission. It looked like it hadn't been used in years. I remember riding it back in the 80's when I played regularly with my dad and brother. The Tram would take us and our carts up a steep incline back to the clubhouse.
GETTING WORSE ALL THE TIME!
These are two of Southern California's finest courses. Good designs and great views.
Unfortunately, the conditions and maintenance are terribly kept by the management. Worse than a muni.
Industry Hills was relatively premium only 20 years ago. It went way down market during COVID, when most other golf courses were experiencing great business growth. The green fees are now one of the lowest and the conditions match that.
What a shame. Lower and lower green fees will not bring in more business.
A PLAYER'S COURSE AT A SOLID PRICE
Had and 11:00 a.m. tee time on a Sunday for only 100 bucks. It was just after a rainstorm to the course was relatively empty. Until I got in front of a group, a group of hackers, the front nine took over 3 hours but ended up finishing all 18 in just under 4 and 1/2.
The course is a challenging beauty with continual changes in scenery and elevation. Despite the course being very damp, the conditions for well-maintained with true but tricky greens. A few favorites are the 2nd hole (a par 4 with water near the green and a drop of 30 to 40 yards from the back tee box), the 4th hole (you hit your drive into the sky towards blind fairway), the 6th hole (very long par 4 with a split fairway), the 15th (like the par 3 from Amen Corner at the Masters), and the par 5 18th hole (plays up to 652 yards from the tips)!
Not of course I would recommend for people just starting to play, but is a very fun and challenging time for the person looking to challenge themselves! Definitely plan on coming back another day!
Great course - didn’t finish
I played a twilight round that started at 3:30. Should have been more than enough time to play a full round before it got dark. The amount of people on the course was insane and it was backed up from the first hole. Ended up waiting on every tee box 2 deep. Great course. Nice facilities. I’ll definitely be back but mid week early am.
They closed Sunday when I had a booked tee time, drive an hour there just to be told they closed. No email or anything, they even still allowed you to book tee times even tho they closed. Besides that I usually love this corse
Perfect day
Great time playing here. Scenery was good and pace was great.
Needs a lot of work, as usual
The world’s worst driving range also has the world’s worst range balls. See pics. I mean how can they give those to people. Balls covered in sand, unwashed. You have to wipe off every ball before you hit them, especially your driver and metalwoods, otherwise you will damage them. How can anybody call this customer service, at a place that tries to sell itself as a resort???? People from around the world come here and see the state of that. If you travelled to a far away destination and saw that range, you are going to run away. Especially this week, the Holiday week!!
And then the course…… my gawd, what is it with this place?
So many tee boxes need work, most were uncut today too, almost like rough on the tee.
And who did these pins on the greens??? Some of them were completely on side slopes and horrible humps!!! No wonder it was taking for ever to play. Having teed off at first twilight tee times, you would expect to be able to finish. But no. So many people were struggling with the course layout anyway, and then they have to deal with those crazy pins!!! On a weekday! Players were pinging back up and down and around the pin all day, we were so delayed we didn’t get to finish. We did our best, but we had to call it quits on 16.
Just really sad.
Amazing course, unfair greens
Beautiful views and great course layout. Fairways were rock hard and had some rough spots. Staff was helpful and friendly.
Major issue was the greens. Every green was mult-tiered and holes were cut right on the edge of them, making for some ridiculously difficult putts. I putted off the green a few times and therefore had the most 3-putts in my entire life.
Having to constantly smash putts up a massive incline in the green was not an enjoyable experience and makes it impossible to get the pace right on these greens.
If i were to come back I would try The Babe Course, which I heard was easier.
Place has gone downhill
Hackers are abundant here and almost seems like they need to work on their game on the range instead of sow down the day fhe real golfers. This course has a desperate feel. The staff always looks miserable and it shows.
