This course has a great concept, but the local execution has not been sustained
Tour 18 is a great concept..to replicate famous golf holes and put them all in one place.
However, when the infrastructure is aging...bare spots in the middle of fairways, bridges out of service, significant cart path buckling, directional signs broken/propped up...the experience is far less than the price paid.
One significant challenge: Tour 18 does not maintain water on course and used a single beverage cart to support a full tee sheet on a very warm holiday weekend. We saw this cart only once on each nine...
Lastly a round which took 4:45 to complete--not good on any day but especially on one where the temp topped out in excess of 100 degrees.
You need to play here
Very nice course
From tee box to fairway to sand to green- all well maintained.
Course layout is exceptional as in its Title!
Plenty of wild deer, and rabbits, to put a smile on your face
Superb
Lack of water coolers on course in 190 degree Texas heat made it difficult to play. Starter said it was due to Covid, most all other courses have them back since the first of the year.
Great course
Love all the different golfers, highly recommend playing this course.
Cool course
Enjoyed the layout. First time playing and would love to play a few more times. There was a group in front of me that slowed me down towards the end of the round but that’s on the group not the course.
Very scenic
The course is very hilly with lots of tricky shots, but beautiful mountain scenery. Greens in great shape with lots of contour & downhill very fast. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Maybe it’s just Branson as a whole, but it seems overpriced.
The course was a great example of some famous Championship holes
The course was in relatively good shape for the amount of play. Greens were rolling nice. Pace of play a little slow at 4.5 hrs. Would definitely play here again.
Pure fun
Very fun round of golf. If you only play Amen Corner and 17 at TPC Sawgrass you get your monies worth. Conditions were fine and pace of play was what you would expect on a Friday before a holiday weekend. Strongly recommend giving this course a try and have fun remembering all of the holes you have seen on television.
Great Shape
Probably my favorite course in the houston area. Conditions were excellent and the layout is great. Pace of play a bit slow as is usual here. Overall fantastic
Great course
The way they designed this with famous holes was done excellent. Great condition tough greens.
Course was in great condition
The only thing that detracted was slow play. However, that group readily recognized they were slow and invited not only our group but the group in front of us to play through. Kudos to them. Did it help our scores for the rest of the back nine? Nope. We had no one else but ourselves to blame for our scores. But it nice to know that the group - all beginners - were courteous in allowing others through.
