Oh so Close to perfect
I am a member at Tour 18, it is by far the best value in the area. Course conditions are always very good and sometimes.... so close to perfect. This course has a ton of play.. always full. The reason, the fairways are plush, the rough is tall, but fair and the greens are fast and true.
Staff is friendly and very helpful... always ready to help. My only issue with Tour 18 is it’s failure to fix some of the original bridges on the course. The bridge coming over from the 7th tee box has been out of order... for years. Granted, it will take a great deal of money to fix but... it takes away from the Premier Golf level course it is on all other levels.
Overall, Tour 18 is a great deal. True test of golf and everything you need for a great day in the Texas sun....
Poor course conditions
No sand in bunkers plus numerous bare patches around greens and in fairways. Course seems to really be going down hill but prices have gone up.
Tour 18
One of the slowest rounds I’ve played in a while around five hours, and no marshal to keep the pace of play going in front of us. How can you be $120 course with no marshals!??
Good but expensive for the course
The site is nice and the course is good but, for this price you expect perfect greens, ball shaggers, better cars and others, There are courses around for the half with much better facilities
Great course
Golf course is in very good shape.
Very challenging, just hit from the correct box for your game
Play number 2 conservatively. Bite off too much of the lake and you will be looking at double bogey.
Island greens are fun with a very forgiving drop zones.
All said it’s a fun golf course.
Worth the be played!
Played the course for the first time. Great holes as indicated in the description. Worth the place and must play if you are in the region. Quallity of fairways and greens were super for the time of season.
Course Rates.
I was disappointed to find out that I paid Tee-off $113 and when I got to the Proshop they told me that the greens fees for seniors was $90. Next time I won't assume that Tee-off has the best rares.
Great course .. slow play
Love this course, but pace of play was very slow today. Perfect weather so that probably brought out the masses. Course in very good condition.
I will play this course again!
Had a great time, staff was great! Course was in good shape for winter golf.
Very Enjoyable course
There had been a ton of rain in the area and the entire course was Cart Path only. Despite this the fairways were fantastic and the greens putted a little slow, but were in overall great shape. I gave a 4 for course conditions because the cart paths are not in the greatest conditions and really could use some repair. the rest of the course was great.
Best for money in the area
One of the best and funnest courses in the area that doesn’t cost an arm and a leg to play. Ans usually it’s pretty quick play with low traffic on week days.
Fun Day
First time playing one of these replica type courses. It was a lot of fun playing Amen Corner and most holes were realistic. Will play again.
Winter Golf in Texas
Course was in great shape for winter golf, some tee boxes a bit rough but overall great.
fc
Amazing course. no marshall. And the people it attracts. Had a guy hit into us while they had two tee times stacked behind them on number two holes. They then blame us for not getting out of the way.
Challenging!
Great course! For someone that plays 4-5x/year this course is a tough one. Fairways are open, but hills and hazards run throughout.
Weather was chilly, heavy rain the evening prior had the greens running sluggish even for a 10am start. By noon it was a completely different game.
Had a great time.
Another Slow Weekend Round
I have played this course many times and have no complaints about the layout, conditions, etc. But the round took somewhere around 5 hours and 20 minutes to finish. The first two holes were fine. Then we waited on every single tee box the rest of the day, many times with more than one group sitting on the box. The tee times were spaced out 10 minutes apart so I don't even think they were trying to cram too many people onto the course. And only one hole was cart path only so I don't think that was the issue either. Would've loved for a marshall to speed things along.
