2nd Hole par 3 Photo submitted by benhogan53 on 01/28/2013
Played this course for the first time. The t-boxes were horrible. The fairways were poorly cut. The bunkers were the worst I have ever seen. They were totally uncared for and there was grass growing in them. The greens had some weeds growing on some of them. It was difficult telling where the fairway was and the second cut. Grass was about 2 to 4 inches tall. Lost several balls off the fairway because of tall grass.
This is a sad excuse for a golf course. In its heyday this was a beautiful course. It is too bad the management has absolutely no pride in the upkeep of this course. Is is painfully obvious that they are not spending any funds in its proper upkeep.
Don't play here. You will be sorry and it will be a waste of your money, no matter how cheap it is.
Ok
This course was probably pretty in its day but is getting not I. Great shape. It needs some TLC. Carts were all torn tees need painting and clubhouse is marginal. Regardless it was a decent price for March play in florida
Very poor course condition
I have played this course since it opened in 1996. I have never seen it in such bad shape. This course is way over priced for the condition. Do yourself a favor and play somewhere else.
Gaduga
Remington is a good course. The layout is good. The course conditions are decent. Greens are nice.
It is what it is.
Can’t complain too much. You get what you pay for. Greens were pretty good. Course is pretty dry and the fairways are a little bare. Those extremely tight lies after a a great tee shot are hard. My expectations were very low and it was a good time. I’ll definitely be back. It’s great course for the price. If you want better you need to pay more. If you want to pay less, this is a good option.
Nice greens
First time I’ve played this course this year and was impressed on the way the greens were. Also the management seems to be doing improvements throughout the course.
Remington
The course has a nice layout. The course was pretty dry which led to some good roll.
It could always be a little better but it is worth playing this course.
Disappointed
Course needs work since I played there a couple of years ago
Disappointed
Played here last year and the course was in much better condition than now
Only the starter made the day better
There was an older gentleman out walking the course looking for golf balls and I had to get my ball back from him on 1 hole, this is not normal on any other course I have played
Nice layout, okay conditions, very slow paceof play
Fairways and greens were pretty good;tee boxes fair;bunkers absymal (no sand mostly dirt/mud and not groomed at all). The starting times were behind and it seemed they overbooked by a lot - the round took over 4.5 hours. Staff was fine, but not worth over $60 - I would rccommend at $40-$45.
