About
Editor's Note: Course closed and reopen as The Yards.
The Oak Bridge Club (formerly known as Ponte Vedra Golf & Country Club at Sawgrass) in the heart of Ponte Vedra Beach, Fla., sits adjacent to the famed Players Stadium Course at TPC Sawgrass. The 6,413-yard, par-70 Arnold Palmer design features water on every hole, tree-lined fairways and undulating greens. Oak Bridge favors accuracy and strategy over power and distance. New owners have upgraded the clubhouse and introduced a new restaurant, The 3 Palms Grille. A tennis center is home to 10 Har-Tru clay courts.

Sad
This course is in bad shape
Brown fairways, slow patchy greens , beaten up tee boxes. Such a shame to see this course in this shape.
Also the only course in Jacksonville that has no front middle back pin markings
slipping again
Driving range is great, Fairways are fine, tee boxes doable if you move your ball forward or to the side, greens appear ok but fungus may be an issue. The traps unfortunately are unraked by the crew and unbelievably they had removed all the rakes so you can't groom after your shots !
I really don't understand that or the fact that all ball washers have been removed.
Kind of disappointed given conditions were decent just 2 weeks ago.
Great Layout Long Par 3s
Tee Boxes need some TLC, Fairways in Good condition, Rough is RUFF, Greens are good for this time of year, could be faster/. Have played this track many times, and will be back to try and break 80! Cheers!!
pretty decent shape
My first round here. No bad spots on the greens but some of the tee boxes need work. Fairways were pretty consistent. Bunkers could use more sand. Likely will return. Go ahead and give it a try.
Dead and gone
Showed up one day to find all fairways were toasty brown. They let them die so the owner could build some condos. Too bad - it was an interesting course when maintained. Sure he’s talking about a range plus 12 holes of par 3s but really ? 12 holes ? Not interested
Farewell
Needs some more TLC
To be in the same community n somewhat affiliated with TPC Sawgrass I was expecting better tee boxes n greens.
Wow what a change
I cant believe what they have done to this course over the last year. Greens are great, fairways are great and tee boxes are pretty good. This place was weeds and dirt a year ago and now I would play here every week. Still a little rough around the edges, could use a weed eater and some sand in the traps, but otherwise WOW!
Wow what a change
I just cant get over what they have done to this place. One year ago it was nothing but dirt and weeds. We tee'd off today at 12 and I was shocked at how good the course conditions were. There were a couple boxes that were sparse grass and dirt, but the majority were grass. And every single green was full of grass and rolling nicely. Every fairway was grass as well. The place could use a weed eater in quite a few places but the parts of the course that matter were really good. No WAY would I have recommended this course to anyone a year ago and after today I hole heartily recommend you go play here.
Great Course
I loved this course
Four or five pars for me
That’s good
Beautifully designed and fun to play
Want to make it a favorite
Odd
Went expecting to get breakfast, 3 palms closed till 11 am and I didn't get to eat until I finished. Staff was watering greens by hand on our approach,crazy....goose poop everywhere
some improvement
Tee boxes are rough but greens better than last month.
Traps a mixed bag of raked and not
As for recommending to a friend - I clicked yes but honestly it depends on which friend ! Many wouldn't be pleased with the conditions but others who like a bargain would like Oakbridge with a hot deal.
Surprisingly satisfied
Thought it was well worth what we paid. Read the reviews before going and was surprisingly satisfied. The recent reviews are not telling you really what the course was like. We will be golfing there again for sure.
Oak Bridge
The layout was fun but the course is in rough shape. Greens very bumpy and fairways pretty brown. No cart amenities and no good option for food during the round.
Terrible course conditions
The course is in terrible shape. Especially for the price. Tee boxes are dirt tracks and the greens supposedly recently air rated were absolutely horrible.
No cart service and drink prices in the clubhouse and bar were very high priced.
Tried to have brunch after at 3palms and that was not a good experience. Never received service and they were slow so there was no excuses. We got up and left.
Overall poor experience. I’ve played there before and the course would have potential if they cared about it. The course for years now has been in terrible shape and doesn’t look like it will get any better.
Will be the last time I will ever play there.
Worst course I've ever played
Disregard any photos attached to this course. You cannot tell the tee b ox from the fairway from the greens. Weeds galore and unsightly. If I lived on this course I would dig one large lake.
