Trying to understand why GN is charging 36.99 + tax and fees when it’s only $34 if you walk in the door and pay. This should be revised. The course is in mediocre condition but it’s always a fun and challenging layout.
Decent course for all levels
If you like playing between houses on a links type of golf course then this is the golf course for you! The golf course also is beside the freeway, which brought in a lot of noise. Speaking of noise, the tornado warning sirens went off as I was about to finish the 13th hole. They left it running for at least five minutes as I was only two blocks away. I know it’s dry, but unable to push my tee all the way in wasn’t pleasant. And with new carts, the good thing was they had a screen for the whole GPS. The bad thing is if you went where you weren’t supposed to go with the cart,,it was shut off automatically. They have a decent driving range. The staff inside the golf shop/bar were very friendly. As this was my first outing at this location, I will decide to go to different locations,,I haven’t been to yet. I doubt I’ll be back.
Hopefully there’s some improvement at this lakeland gem
I am sure golf courses are very expensive to maintain. Someone made some errors in the past couple of years at this place because it is gone drastically downhill. Almost done playable it wasn’t that bad of a shape.

Enjoy the course and bar and grill
I like the course because it is challenging and enjoyable to play. Birdies bar and grill has great food and drinks. I always get a breakfast before playing. Great food, drinks, and enjoyable round of golf.

The pro is the worst aspect of this course
Pace of play was slow. No starter or office personnel was responsible for pairing up groups. Could only finish 9 due to time constraints. Asked the pro for a rain check, and he said it wasn’t raining. He then challenged me on my time management techniques. Will never go back and will recommend to friends to not play here.

First time playing
The greens are a little rough but they are also very changing with the slope and the speed. I got out pretty early around 8:15 and I was done before 11. I enjoyed the round and I will return.

Greens spotty
I feel like I overpaid. The greens are either burning or damaged by fungus. Will be staying away for a bit.

Nice course
Greens were pretty good, speed was difficult to acclimate.
In town to visit my son doing work nearby, it was here ot Quail Ridge. Made a good choice but will definitely give Quail a try next time.
Lakeland is Worth playing and recommend giving this course a shot.

Decent But Challenging
As a first timer out here it was difficult to say the least. birdies are hard to come by if you dont know where to miss. tight fairways, sharp doglegs. small greens. Will try it out again in the future.
