Sabal/Grand at Grand Palms Golf & Country Club
About
Located in Pembroke Pines, picturesque Grand Palms Golf & Country Club offers three nines: Royal, Sabal and Grand. The nine-hole courses are playable in three combos, with the Sabal/Grand coming in at a 6,682 yards. Of the three, Sabal/Grand is the most helter skelter, combining the shortest and longest nines. The Grand is a tight golf course that offers a challenge for most, what with its raised greens, narrow fairways and challenging water holes. Sabal, by contrast, is a resort-style play, with a gentler game featuring generous fairways and greens.

Good layout and tight
Generally good conditions greens in great shape would play again
Not even worth the $46 18 hole price
Worst conditions of any Golf Course in South Florida
Greens are unplayable
Poor greens
Lovely staff, very helpful and friendly. Course layout very challenging with water in play constantly. Must be played conservatively if your drive is off The greens took the value out of it, with me wishing I had paid $20 more for nearby course in better condition. I hope the management wise up.
Nice course layout and very friendly people
I played Grand and Royal for the second time and love the course layout and most holes. The starters are super friendly and I was joining a twosome, which was great fun to play with. The course is not easy with a lot of (water) hazards. Only a few greens are in a very bad condition. I like this place and would always come back!
Just don't waste your money.
This place shouldn't even be open. If you want to spend $20 for some fresh air and a golf cart ride great. If you are going for golf or a good experience just don't.
Nice course layout with lots of water
Nice course to play at a very competitive rate compared to many overpriced courses around Miami. A few greens are in very bad shape, but the course is interesting to play. Had a great threesome flight with two great guys from the area. The only bad thing that nobody came out for 5 holes (!) to fix a bad connection at my cart, which I had to regularly fix myself (at the batteries under the seat). Apparently the pro shop never told the starters that we had called for a replacement. I still enjoyed a great round of golf thanks to the course and my flight.
Just Don’t!
I don’t usually write reviews but the condition of this course is a crime. It’s never been an A1 course but this is ridiculous! Greens are a mess! Weeds, sand, bald spots that look like divots! I just don’t have the words. If you are just practicing and trying to stay away from the wife it’s fine for $20. If you have been playing more then 6 weeks just save your money.
Greens Nearly Unplayable
I have played this course for years. I love the layout, but whatever is going on lately with the condition of their greens is making the course near unplayable. The greens on this course used to be excellent. I am not looking for Augusta National, but they have reached a point where they are like putting in the parking lot. It’s a shame because the course has three nines that are a great layout, but with the condition of the greens putting is not skill as much as where the ball bounces. The course needs to be closed, the greens redone and brought back to their former glory.
Not worth the price - greens are unplayable.
I’ve played this course many times in the past and the green conditions are absolutely unplayable. Almost every green had an incredible amount of bumps and patches over the entire green. The fairways were smoother than the greens. Unless the tee time is $20 it is not worth playing here. It’s a shame because the practice grounds are good and the layout is fine, but expect to give give yourself a 2 putt and pick up on every hole. Grand Palms should fix these greens and offer huge discounts if they want anyone to play here again.
Nice layout AWFUL greens
I cant believe the Royal course is not closed. The greens are unplayable. And when you pay for the round, they dont tell you about the extremely poor conditions of the greens.
Wont go there again, and its a shame, because the layout of the course is very nice.
Poor contitions, rental clubs 70$!!! (worth of toiletpaper)
