Shingle Creek's par-4 12th is one of the new holes, which Thad Layton and team knitted adeptly into the existing course. Big fan of this bunker cluster. Photo submitted by TimGavrichGP on 10/27/2017

Very Dissapointing
Shingle is one of my favorite golf courses and we play it every time we travel to Orlando. It is on the upper end of our budget at just over $100.00 but we have always found it a good value. The course is closing at the end of this month for redesign and they have not over-seeded or maintained the course to its usual perfection. They are spray painting many fairways and around greens to try to give some contrast for making shots. Listen, I'm all for that but if your going to keep a facility open for a few more weeks that is not anywhere up to scratch...don't charge regular rates. I was so embarrassed to take 3 friends there who had never played and whom I convinced this course was worth the extra money. I was shocked at the whole situation and felt like it was just a money grab by a usually top notch golf facility. This whole situation was made worse by the fact that we had previously played 3 or 4 other golf courses in pristine condition for a lot less money. Unfortunately, Shingle Creek is no longer on my list of places to play and I'm happy I have understanding friends.
Staff poor
Because of miss managed best ball tournament in the morning, all tee times were changed to an hour later without any notice to any golfers. The starter didn’t even know, just had us down for an hour later. When asked why, the pro shop just said it was because of the tournament and there was nothing they could do and quite frankly didn’t care. I spoke to a manager who said he would pass my feedback along. Both looked to see how I booked before responding which left me wondering if golfnow customers are treated differently. You pay a premium this time of year, and I expected more from an extremely profitable concern.
One of the best courses to play
Shingle Creek is always in tremendous condition. It is in the top tier of courses to play in Orlando.
Great Plsce to Play
Superior conditions of the golf course. First class treatment by staff. Range included. In the green fee. Golf carts/GPS were awesome. If you can get a Hot Deal here, grab it immediately.
ranger?
A Great course, very well maintained. Tees, fairways and greens are in prime condition. We played behind 4 duffers who played from the championship tees - stupid! 3 hours for nine holes. It would have been after dark to finish, so we quit after 9. Put a Rangoon the course!
Last time we played it was cash only and there was not a beverage cart. This time, credit cards were accepted everywhere and we regularly saw the beverage cart on the course. Made for a much more enjoyable experience and the course was in good shape. Kudos
Beautiful Day
Played a 4 hour round with two guys were paired up with by a most helpful starter. Challenging course with a few traps in need of more sand and the greens had just been punched. But the greens were pretty true surprisingly. Lunch in the grill is always exceptional at the grill next to the well stocked Pro Shop. We’ll be back soon
perfect golf course
It's the best golf course I've ever played. Everything was close to perfect.
Nice fairways, tee-boxes not moved, bunkers not racked
Pace of Play
Nice course layout and it good condition. Pace of play was awfully slow which made for a long day on the golf course. Friendly staff and may go back if I can get a hot deal on the green fees.
Pace of Play
It was a nice round of golf, course in good condition, friendly professional staff but the pace of play was very slow having to wait on 99% of my shots.
Fun time
A single behind us joined up on the front nine. Then, on the 14th hole, he had an albatross. Very exciting! May never see one of those again.
Course in good shape. Fairways are wide open for the most part... certainly more forgiving than any other course we've played in Florida. Greens are a challenge, though.
Pace of play a bit slow. Ranger was not out moving people along.
